I could have posted exactly that about Mr Redo jwil (including the motorbike bit) and is was one of our main areas of friction. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Also saw The Salt Path over the weekend, I enjoyed it but as you say, loads more in the book, the film is definitely an abbreviated version. I'm not at all familiar with the area but very much enjoyed the landscapes and the variety, no idea it was in the 'wrong' order 🤪.
Enjoy your relax this affy.1 -

I have learnt to avoid the film of the book or the book of the film. They never seem to work well.1

In my case, it is roommate's stuff. I don't even have a decent chair to sit on - just a stiff hard one for working at the computer. I get upset a lot but it doesn't make any difference. She moves a couple of things around and feels that is it for the day. I am going to have to call in outside help on this one.1

That sounds really tough. I hope you manage to get the help that you need. We can at least sit down in comfort (even if I don't like the view!).. It's not fair on you at all.

You seem to have found the best way forward with DH and hoarding. He is lucky to have you as hoarders living alone fare poorly.
Glad you both got to see the SP together. I am looking forward to seeing it myself. I know that part of the world and miss it, so would be happy watching just the visuals. HaIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
