I had a complete meltdown over the weekend about all the clutter and everything. I think it started off that another week off had gone without me being able to get on with anything I had planned and just spiralled (probably with the help of hormones!) I just feel completely trapped sometimes with endless barriers against what I want to be doing whilst having to deal with the stuff that I have to be doing.
I have barely spoken to DH for the weekend, and on Saturday stormed out for a few hours. I've eased off a bit today and actually spoken to him about it while the kids weren't here. Who knows if it will make a difference!
DH is going back to the 'new' place tomorrow. They phoned and asked him to go back so he's agreed to give it another go. Hopefully it will be better this time. It seems it was an issue with an individual rather than the job overall so hopefully it will be resolved. It was quite nice having him here today so I could get stuck in at work to deal with all the first day back backlog rather than having to stop and do the school run.
DH sold a few items over the weekend so that's mostly been packed and posted. At least some things are leaving the house!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee9 -
Hope all goes well for DH. He must have made a good impression on them for them to ask for him back.
I know how you feel about clutter, overwhelm and hormones. I've been quite bad with them but have done three months on hrt and asked Dr for a repeat prescription as I'm am starting to feel better. The treadmill of life is very busy and everything that needs dealing with each day adds up doesn't it. Remember to look after you as well xJan 18 Joint debts 35,213

You've also had a lot going on. Glad HRT is working for you. xxLzzyIsGod said:The hormones just amplify everything! Feb - £63
Mar - £103
Apr - £149
May - £79

A little bit of cashback today to top up my PAD. I'm back to having little miss in after school club on Tuesdays and Wednesdays this half term so it will make my life easier despite the extra cost. It was just too hard juggling it all last term. DH will pick her up so I can just focus on work."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". My "rage" is at its worst at night time. Any kind of loud breathing when I'm dropping off completely sets me off 🤣Nov/Dec 24 £39 564

That’s really good that they wanted DH back. Hope there aren’t any more issues with the individual 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Life isn't always easy and you have coped admirably with so much recently. It's important at times like these that we prioritise our own well-being and needs, so that we can effectively help others. On such days, I tell myself that it's ok to pour a jar of sauce over some pasta, to do only what is necessary and to go for a walk, wallow in a long bath, or whatever calms the frustration and whirling chatter in my head.

Your DH is doing so well with selling items. Sending a hug your way.2
