Your weight loss is good news too.
Re your mouldy fruit. I paid for a veggie box. The carrots were old and I had a baked sweet potato this evening and that was old too. Disappointing when food we pay for is not up to standard! Moan over...
Hope the sun continues to shine where you are.It is very annoying when the food isn't up to standard, especially when it's not cheap!

I've finally updated my spending spreadsheet and got back on track with how much I've been padding this month. It's mostly been the usual £2 but there were a couple of days where it was a little more.
I'm in a grump today so battling the urge to comfort eat. I've managed so far! I went to Mr L this morning to get some more berries and I fully intended to get some of their lovely pastries from the bakery but they didn't have any so the universe was telling me NO!
I've done a bit more in the garden this morning including pulling up those very tall weeds that I posted about before. They are now as tall as me! It was quite a job pulling them out and they didn't seem to be particularly popular with the pollinators so I shan't let them grow again."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I hope you're feeling a little less grump, maybe the weeding helped (or is it just me that thinks of it as pulling up the heads of my enemies and trying to keep their spines - roots- intact?).

I feel like I had a really good night's sleep last night which makes a change!
I finally ordered some spare glasses yesterday using the offer on the email. 2 pairs of glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses for £66. Hopefully they'll be ok. It will mean I can put a pair in DH's car as well which will be useful, as I'm always forgetting them.
Not much planned for today. I'm debating on going to the boot sale with DH to get my steps in. I also finished my last Reacher book yesterday which ended on a cliffhanger which is annoying, so I could go and see if I can find it. There's a risk of showers though so it might not be very good, though it's nice and sunny at the moment."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Glad you managed a good nights sleep, hope you are feeling a bit less grump
.
I love a car boot, I've not been to one in years! With living in the sticks we just don't have any nearby. The village my late nan lived in used to have one every couple of months and i used to enjoy having a walk round with her picking up bargains.
Hope you have a great day xx2 -

I like having a look around too, we have a nice selection that we can go to around here.

Went to the boot sale this morning and got two books off my list (and two other ones!). I didn't manage to get the one I was after though, but have seen it's on Borrowbox, available in August, so I'll reserve it and can cancel it if I find it beforehand.
Popped into Mr M on the way home. I think my grocery bill is going to be higher even allowing for the fact that I'm not buying chocolate and other stuff like that, but I'm trying to change habits at the moment, and I'll worry about reducing the bill later on.
It's raining here at the moment, seems to be the first we've had for a while. I don't think it's going to be enough to give the ground a good soaking though.
DH gave me £10 from a lottery win, I think I'll pay it to the mortgage."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5
