Re DH not particularly enjoying his new job, I hated mine when I first started and was going to ask the temp agency to move me elsewhere after the 3 months was up. It somehow grew on me and I accepted the permanent role I’m still in 26 years later.

We've had a lovely day at the seaside today, it was glorious out there! The kids spent the whole time in the sea so I had a chance to sit with my book. We splashed out on chippy for lunch while we were there. Stopped at a second beach for an ice cream stop before we came home too.
