Thank you everyone, it was nice to be out and about
Up early this morning and it's a lovely day again so I've been out for a walk and listened to my audiobook.
I'm planning a day at home today. DH will be off booting, and I think is planning on taking his bike out this afternoon. He has received a letter from the liquidators and needs to register as a creditor, so it looks like we need to work out a value of what he is owed."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I've noticed you seem more intentionally active these daysIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I am definitely improving. My phone tells me I'm doing an average of just over 1000 more steps a day than I did last year. I'm still slow, and I'm not doing massive numbers of steps, but it's certainly easier than it used to be and I'm not having to force myself so much any more, so I'm really pleased. I can carry on building on my improvements

I feel exhausted and achy today, like I've run a marathon! I wasn't that active over the weekend! I didn't go into the office today as I couldn't face it, so WFH instead, but I did walk on the school run this morning so still got my activity in. Not that long ago, feeling rubbish would have been a good excuse to drive instead, so it's another sign of improvement for me.
I've only got to get through this week at work and then I'm off next week, so I'm looking forward to that. I've got lots of deadlines this week though, so need to focus.
I've had an email saying my glasses are delayed which is a shame, but hopefully they won't take too long to come."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -

I'm feeling a bit better today, maybe it was just the Monday blues
It was cloudy yesterday but it's lovely out there again today, I think it's our last day of it though
I know we need a good soaking, but I've loved the sun and hope we don't go back to the endless gloom where it's not wet and it's not sunny!

I've loved the recent warm sunny weather. I know we need some rain but this seems to happen every year - we have an early summer and the media starts predicting droughts and hosepipe bans. Then once summer officially starts the weather takes a turn for the worse. It would be lovely if we got a few decent weeks of weather.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
