I had a bit of a scrabble round and cashed out some survey money, a bit of cashback and small sale, so a nice pad for the end of the month.
I'm heading into the office today but have a day of meetings so don't expect to achieve much. I am going to be MSE and take a packed lunch though! It will offset the fact that I have to drive as my first meeting is at 9am and I can't get there in time for that if I walk with the school run. Little miss is in a club this afternoon so at least I don't have to dash around for the afternoon school run and can stay a little longer in the office."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Well done on the packed lunch. It is the small things that add up, but judging by your PADs you already know that!!
Have a good dayIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Endless work meetings with little, or no real purpose used to drive me insane when I was working. "Bored, nothing to do? Call a meeting!"4 -

My old boss (the one I've only just got rid of) used to call meetings to arrange a meeting, and call meetings to discuss the meetings we'd just had. Drove me bonkers!!!

Happy Payday! At long last! I've done the money shuffle and updated finances. I still need to update my spending spreadsheet as I haven't done that for a couple of weeks.
I did a mini pad of £1 yesterday as that was all that was left in my account!
Good news is that my AVC account is now (slightly) above what I have contributed again, though it's not back to where it was a couple of months ago. That's a relief.
Today is DH's last day. Who knows what will be coming next. He's going to take the bank holiday weekend off (he hasn't had one as long as he's been working there) and then make a start next week."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
