Thanks everyone, I was so worried they'd turn up and we'd hate them or find them really uncomfortable, but all good. The kids love the recliners, and actually I do too, not thinking I would! We still need to reorganise the front room and DH needs to deal with his stuff, but they were a good purchase.
I'm feeling a lot more organised and on top of things this week. I've managed to catch up with some stuff that's been hanging over me at work, and I've got back into doing surveys hence the cash out.
I'm still doing my challenges on the app the GP sent me, and am liking it. It is giving me the nudge to do a little more, and I'm definitely starting to feel the benefits. Unfortunately my weight isn't but I'm kind of used to that now, and it's more important to me to be fitter and stronger and hopefully the weight will follow. I can see that I'm starting to change my mindset towards walking to school - now thinking it's easier to walk and not battle the traffic/parking, than it's quicker to drive - so that's good and long may it last. I'm finding it much easier to get up and down off the floor now, and little things like that - so I'm really pleased I can see progress. The good weather has definitely helped my motivation, so hopefully I can stick to these new habits when it's not so good!
The lack of council tax is helping me start replenish the savings so that's good too, I'm hoping to have a fairly quiet month without spending too much just to keep them in place. The boiler still has its puddle underneath, but I'm still hopeful it's the condensate pipe, so hopefully that will resolve over the next few days as it's meant to be milder.
It's been nice putting the washing out on the line again and having it dry! Saves using the TD."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee10 -
