Great news on the water meter & getting to paint the wall! And a very happy belated birthday - all the best people are born in February (me, & my youngest turned 10 in Feb too!) xx2

That's a good saving with the water meter. Good luck with the PADs in March2

It makes you wonder if the water companies are sneakily trying to get us all on meters by charging extortionate rates for normal bills.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Don't forget Feb is a short month just after Christmas and you had birthdays. Any PAD is a success. And yay to the good night's sleep. Makes all the difference doesn't it.And yes, a good night's sleep makes such a huge difference!

I'll be grateful if we get close to that standard, but we're pretty frugal with water so I'm hoping we might do better than that.

DH has moved his stuff from behind the sofa, and has helpfully piled it up all over the floor and in the middle room 🙄 I don't know why he can't see how ridiculous this is. It doesn't leave them a lot of room to manoeuvre putting the new ones together. I'm just raging about the quantity of stuff as well as the placement of it.
I've washed down all the paintwork and he's doing the edging at the moment. I'll help in a minute. We bought some paint this morning, just magnolia as that is what is already there, and we can't do the whole room. I dislike magnolia a lot, but it will look a lot better with the grubby marks and missing paint patches covered."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
