Great news on the water meter & getting to paint the wall!  And a very happy belated birthday - all the best people are born in February (me, & my youngest turned 10 in Feb too!) xx

That's a good saving with the water meter. Good luck with the PADs in March

It makes you wonder if the water companies are sneakily trying to get us all on meters by charging extortionate rates for normal bills.

Mine are very up front about the fact that the unit rate is higher if you are on rated value than if you are on a meter.  The meter prices are up £12 a month, the rated value is up £20 a month.

Good luck with the water meter. We moved into a house with one so never had the choice to change back. That new bill is shocking isn't it.
Don't forget Feb is a short month just after Christmas and you had birthdays. Any PAD is a success. And yay to the good night's sleep. Makes all the difference doesn't it.
Thank you :)  And yes, a good night's sleep makes such a huge difference!

I always have to do it, as his first reaction to everything is 'no'.   I always get my way eventually 😂😂

Thank you :)  I'll be grateful if we get close to that standard, but we're pretty frugal with water so I'm hoping we might do better than that.

I know, it's ridiculous!  I'll be kicking myself for putting it off so long if we do make such a big saving :D
