A more relaxing afternoon. I have been reading a French magazine I downloaded from Borrowbox and am delighted to find that I can understand a good proportion of it
My duo is really making a difference.
DH has had a burst of sorting things ready for the next boot sale, so he's obviously been inspired. We are thinking of maybe doing 4 different locations over the season.
I should be listing on ebay but haven't got round to it and am going to go offline in a mo. DH has sold one item and has a load more going out tonight, so hopefully will have some more sales. I've relisted my bits that didn't sell today."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I've done my challenges for the day - walked on the school run, 3 mins of weights, and 10 mins tidying. I was up early so got on with it. I've upped the frequency of my challenges, but not the duration yet. I'll do that when I'm happy it's an embedded habit.
I've been making an effort to have at least 2 portions of fruit/veg with each meal as well, so that's been going quite well.
DH sold two lots yesterday but one paid then promptly cancelled which was annoying. The other has been posted this morning.
Hopefully there will be some surveys around at lunchtime as I'm close to cashing out on PA, so will make an effort to check then."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6 -

Happy weekend! Last week was really tough at work, so I have been struggling mood-wise. Yesterday I pretty much just dozed all day. A good nights sleep has helped though and I feel better today. One benefit is that it is really focussing my motivation to get the finances sorted so I can think about what to do next.
I've stuck to the walking (apart from yesterday) but the weights and household tasks slipped. I did get a £5 amazon voucher for doing a survey about the app, and am due to get another one next week in exchange for a quick zoom call. I'm still a very long way from being fit, but it's nice to be able to feel walking getting easier. Even going into the office last week, I wasn't too bad after the stairs up to our floor. I've been a bit better on surveys so hence the cashout.
I've listed an item this morning, and made a start on giving the kitchen a good clean. One thing with the increased sunshine is it makes everything look grubby! I'm very glad we did the boot sale last week though as it's been flipping freezing again! Roll on proper spring!
Yesterday I ordered myself an apple watch SE after seeing the chat on Sun Addicts diary. I've been thinking about it for a while, and decided I wanted something that could track my steps so I don't have to constantly carry my phone around with me. My other normal watch had died a few weeks ago and I have been missing it. I got a warehouse option so it was nearly £50 cheaper (supposedly just the packaging damaged), and I paid for most of it out of my birthday vouchers, so it only actually cost me around £25! It should arrive tomorrow.
We need to go out later to get little jwil some new school shoes but not much else planned for the weekend.
It's nice to see the PAD total is the same as last month even though we're only halfway through this month!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee8 -
