It's even better when I didn't have to spend a lot of 'my' money

It was a bit more spendy while we were out as we got little jwil a couple of short/tshirt sets and little miss some leggings as well as the school shoes. Nothing too drastic though.
I've just been mostly looking through magazines on Borrowbox this afternoon, so just chilling. It's quite nice as I stopped buying them years ago, so it makes a nice change.
I opened us a new joint savings account with NW. We both got the £50 email, but we've only ever had one £100 so I thought maybe if there was a savings account with DH's name on it we might get one each. The other savings accounts are in my name only. There's no harm in trying!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
Oh I never thought to look for magazines on the app… that’s my evening planned! 😀

I love being able to read the magazines for free on the library App, and screen shot anything I want to keep which is much better than a stack of dusty magazines.
Happy new watch, I found 'filling the rings' quite motivating. Fond memories of Mr Redo doing them every day for a year as a challenge to himself - he used to take his lunch break and walk for an hour which helped a lot.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I’m loving my Apple SE watch so far apart from when it woke me up at 5.30 this morning asking if I had 3 minutes to spare, not sure what for 😐 I ignored that message and 20 minutes later it said time to stand up - I got out of bed at that point 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I'm hoping the watch will similarly help motivate me. But also if I do exercises at home. It's nice that I'll be able to sync it all with my phone and ipad.Sun_Addict said:I’m loving my Apple SE watch so far apart from when it woke me up at 5.30 this morning asking if I had 3 minutes to spare, not sure what for 😐 I ignored that message and 20 minutes later it said time to stand up - I got out of bed at that point 🤣"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
