After nearly 25 years in our house we are preparing to move before the end of March.
Where to begin sifting through all that we have shoved in the loft since we moved into this house in August 2000, I guess one box at a time, here goes.Any tips appreciated !

Just coming out of hiding to say label each box with the room it's for and where possible a summary of what is in it, it makes it easier to prioritise what needs unpacking first and which rooms to put boxes into when you move. Declutter as much as possible but you will still open boxes in the new house and say why did we keep this. Going back into hiding xxMortgage free 2021Debt free 2024

I've had no news so will take that as a positive. Just got to wait for the final structures now then I'll know for sure.

Happy Thursday! I'm off again until Tuesday now, and only in Tuesday/Wednesday next week
We've kept up with the walking which is good. I won't be on Fridays now as little miss has a before school club so getting there early and walking is too much. She's also in an after school club so it does mean I'll have a bit longer to myself on Fridays for a few weeks
I've still been working through the cupboards and trying to use stuff up. Shockingly I've had to throw a few things away as they didn't look right when I opened them. I have learnt that I need to stop being an aspirational foodie. I buy stuff because I think I 'should' eat that sort of thing and then either don't fancy it, don't like it or have to throw it because it's gone over. I'm going to try and only buy things like that if I have an actual plan to use it in a specific meal. I'll continue to have a little stock of store cupboard things that we like and use regularly though.
It's very satisfying seeing the cupboards emptying of things that have been hanging around though. Can anyone suggest some good series to watch? I need something new and nothing is grabbing me while I'm browsing. I like things where you get really invested in the characters. I'm not a huge fan of sci fi, fantasy or historical stuff, but wouldn't rule it out."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
