Morning @jwil I loved reading this post. It confirms that all your hard efforts are worthwhile.jwil said:Another sale packed and posted today.
I've had a good look at my finances this morning and updated the spreadsheet. I'm still on track for retirement, and there is plenty of scope within my spending to cut things back a little. So that's all positive, I just need to do it now!
It's very reassuring. I don't think it will be a full retirement, but maybe just getting a little something for a couple of days a week. It was a relief to realise that my lack of extra money this month was more overspending rather than overcomitting! I'm very disappointed with my PAD totals this month, but I just don't have the extra. It's good that I've still got enough there to do the basics though!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I think we all have months like this jwil, don’t be so hard on yourself. As you have still been able to pad some & reduce car balance you’ve done remarkably well 😘jwil said:… I just don't have the extra.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I am so tired, full of cold, and can't get warm today. I've had this cold all week, but it's been fairly minor, until this afternoon where it hit with a bang! Of course I was in the office today which didn't help. I couldn't face anything remotely healthy today so it's not been an on plan day, but the week overall has been pretty good.
I'm debating between snuggling on the sofa with a blanket and hot water bottle, or heading to bed with the same. The sofa will probably win in the short term, as I don't like falling asleep too early (for me that is, I know my normal sleeping habits (9-10pm) are early for many
)
The kids both have inset tomorrow, so half term starts now! I'll have to do the dog walk tomorrow, but apart from that will just be resting.
Little jwil's appointment has come through for Monday, so that's good that it won't infringe on my only working day next week (Tues).
In good news, DH has been offered and accepted a permanent role at the place he has been temping. It's a bit of certainty for now, even if he doesn't stay long term."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
