DH has had a flurry of sales this afternoon so they've been packed and posted. I've made an effort to use up some of the stash of hoarded boxes rather than the purchased ones, ready before they are restashed as we start xmas shopping in earnest. The cupboard is looking much tidier and emptier!
A few more items decluttered from the kitchen cupboards."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -

I've had a good look at my finances this morning and updated the spreadsheet. I'm still on track for retirement, and there is plenty of scope within my spending to cut things back a little. So that's all positive, I just need to do it now!

The talk I went to yesterday was very interesting. I did buy the book as there were a few bits I wanted to learn more about. I've read a couple of this author's other books so it was nice to see him in person.
We had some McDs monopoly tokens so I scanned them into the app where you get an additional go, and as a result won a free photo calendar, a free 'self care' bundle and £10 in cash. There was also a free fitness app trial and a discount on a train app which I won't use. But not bad for a few minutes work!
It's chucking it down today so the challenge is to make sure little jwil doesn't get his arm wet. I'll drop him to and from school which will help.
4 more days and the kids have got inset days on Friday then it's half term, hurrah! I'm just working one day next week so I am looking forward to the break."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I've now got the cold which DH and little miss had. Fingers crossed it doesn't hang around long. I'm not going into the office today, partly because of that but also partly because various plagues seem to be circulating and I don't want them! I do have to go in for a meeting on Thursday anyway.
Whilst I was in town yesterday I picked up a couple of items for Xmas and little miss's birthday so that's a little more ticked off."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee8 -
