I'm all peopled out now. Event went well with lots of people spoken to. I then had to come back for meetings. DH kindly gave me a lift both ways, but I did enough walking in between and in the office to get my steps in.
I popped into a shop in town while I was there, and saw someone I used to work with which was nice. I then realised we used to work together over 30 years ago 😱 so I'm feeling old now
I'm hoping for a quieter couple of days as I don't feel like I've caught up with everything yet!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee8 -

I'm up early today so I'm doing some listing for DH before I start work. I've done my short walk to get me started.
I'm very glad it's Thursday and we have the long weekend to look forward to."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
And now it's the long weekend, I'm very pleased about that!
DH took the kids out today, so I managed to work in peace, and I did hoover round in my lunchbreak while they were all out.
I also nagged DH to go to a pharmacy as he reacts badly to insect bites and his leg was looking rather red. He's come back with antibiotics.
I've had a very hungry day today, but have managed to stick to plan, so hopefully I won't ruin all my good work this week. My busy start this morning is catching up on me now and I'm shattered so the sofa is calling and probably an early night!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I'm very tired today, and the kids don't seem to want to be up to much so I think we are having a quiet day at home. I fancy sitting in the sun with my book! DH might take his bike out.
DH took my car around the block this morning, and it's still driving badly and won't start again when he got home. Roll on next week and we can hopefully get it fixed!
We need to get the rest of the uniform this weekend, but it's only unbranded bits from the supermarket so hopefully not too painful. I just want to get it done in case we have to order online. I hate having left it so late! I'd much rather do it all at the start of the holidays.
I've been doing a bit of admin and some tidying this morning."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6
