  • Morning all, thank you for the welcome.

Started yesterday by sorting out the pile of papers that were gathering dust on the bedside table.  Ended up with a recycling pile, a selection going into the 'filing drawer' (managed to squish it in), and there's a few bits left needing something doing with.

Started by contacting the docs and I also have a prescription to pick up now, as well as those few bits of paper.

Not much flying yesterday as it was a wfh day but I got out and walked in the drizzle, otherwise I'd feel awful in the evening.  MrShores cooked dinner and cleaned as he went, watched the last two episodes of a box set, then I did a final clear down of the kitchen before bedtime.

I know I've got some washing to deal with today, and I want to give both bedside tables a proper wipe down.  The sideboard in the hall needs sorting too, and I'd like to hoover the hall, stairs, landing and lounge (and at some point this week defrost the freezer).

ps @Cloth_of_Gold I haven't ever dealt with moths but some advice here re. bringing in some little wasps that eat them:  Identifying and Treating Clothes Wasps  Parasitic Moths - I had to check that it wasn't April Fools but it looks like a really good solution.

Thanks for that. It's not cheap trying to deal with moths is it? Cheaper than constantly buying nerw clothes though. I liked this from the website you linked to:

"If you have Clothes Moth emerging from carpets, avoid hoovering entirely for 7-10 days after introduction of our Moth Egg Killer Sachets and reduce hoovering to a minimum for 3 weeks after application of sachet."

That won't be difficult for me. :D

Same here, my hoovering is always minimal :)
