Snow here, so Rosie is happy! but I shall not be walking her, or even venturing outside, until it's gone. It is beautifully quiet.
Banking done, CC paid
To do today:
Complete a Jungle order
Text a friend to see if she's up for a phonecall later
Wrap some Christmas presents (I usually leave this job until almost the last minute) and write cards
After breakfast: load the DW, clean down the kitchen table and worktops
PUPA in the LR
Water the plants on the landing windowsill on my way back upstairs
Shower and dress
Clear my desk, finish wrapping
Make something warming for lunch - probably spicy butternut squash and red pepper soup
Weigh out ingredients for Christmas puddings and cakes
Off to make my second cuppa of the day. Hope everyone stays dry, warm and safe, especially if you're driving (or being driven) xxx

CoG, I echo Jazee's suggestion. Anything that you think could have been moth'd in storage - bung it in a plastic bag and stick it in the freezer for 24 hours. That'll do for the little bu**ers.Chocolate ganache was a severe disappointment so they'll have to be remade today, but sausages in the air fryer were brilliant. Dog will need to be trundled, and then I'm going to sort my desk out, rewrap a Christmas present because I don't like the wrapping paper and can donate a couple of rolls now I've found some I like, and then start working my way through the Desk of Doom.Meant to post this earlier this morning and forgot. So today I've remade the chocolate ganache pots, walked the dog and cleared a lot of paperwork at my desk.Better is good enough.8

Today I have fully level three'd the LR, all furniture moved and vacuumed under, even used the steps to clean the lighting and curtain betten (to stand on, I used a duster to clean). 2 x WM and 3 x TD, But then I got side effects...loperamide needed so my plan to write the Xmas cards went. Did knit though, as per Dementia Challenge

Sleeting and 2 degrees when I set off for gym swim this morning.
Did dancefit & zumba yesterday; had tearful session at post-dance coffee when I got a text from DB to say we've had an offer on Mum's house. It was the shock.
Kitchen painting now finished and we're starting to put back door handles etc and move things back in.
Pond cleaners arrived yesterday and did grand clear out and re-organisation of some of the plants.
Mr N and I moved remaining tender plants into greenhouse, just in the nick of time.
After this morning's gym swim, I went for my first proper 'work' session. If you do 4hrs volunteering, you get lunch so it suits me quite well to arrive about 11.30, did some admin, had lunch then saw my first student. Lovely to be teaching again and not assessing (although I enjoyed assessing most of the time). Then did an hour exchanging ideas with one of the other trainers. Not sure if my other student is able to come tomorrow, but there is plenty of admin to do and I'm getting to find my way around and meet people.
Another new recipe with ground almonds - a sort of syrup sponge with apples on top. Took longer to cook than I expected, but it tasted ok.
Signed birthday cards for 2 friends and all ready to post.
I load through DW.

Morning. Hope you're all okay.
I have booked today off to have a day out with friends. Will see what flying I can get done first but bed is made and dry washing put away.. Breakfast dishes to wash next then I'll walk Poppet.
Have a great day everyone..ooh Wordle in 3Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Morning all xx
Quick 👋 while I wait for my lift to work.
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch bag, eaten breakfast, supped a brew, fed the birds, put out the recycling, completed Wordle in four, completed Strands with no hints, completed one line on Connections so far and will go back to it.
I've booked tomorrow morning off work to go and pick up Kevin Kia. When I arrived home yesterday I found the settlement cheque for Vin Diesel had arrived - in full. Hopefully the third party insurers will also pay the Claims company recovery and hire car costs without it going to court - 🤞.
Electricity smart being fitted on 25th November. Gas smart meter being fitted on 7th December. Did someone say Christmas is coming....and breathe.
Love to you all.

Morning all.
Yay! to the insurance cheque, round x
I completed Wordle in 4, Connections with 3 lives lost, and Strands with no hints. At 4.30am, grrrr (and brrrr, as it was snowing when Rosie went out to bark at something in the garden).
DH got breakfast early and set off early to his 6-monthly appointment with the dietician at the horse piddle. The sun is now shining and everywhere is sparklingbut still brrr.
I have tidied and wiped down the kitchen, PUPA in the LR, showered and washed my hair, dressed, and made my bed.
Now off to make the mini Christmas cakes for the church fair that I didn't get round to yesterday. DGD1+2 need picking up from school at 3.10, feeding, and taking to swimming at 6.30. Then I am supposed to be going to W's parents' evening (as godparent, with her mum). That will be followed by the church council meeting, which will hopefully be on Zoom, as I don't fancy walking through the churchyard in the dark when it is also snowy and possibly icy. Oh, and I'm expecting a delivery from the Jungle sometime.
Might be able to fit in a nap too at some point, to make up for the early start!
Hope the sun shines for you today too xxx
