Just an update,

we’ve received a “firm” delivery date for next month from the kitchen manufacturers (Country Living). They contacted us direct to arrange the date so we’re a bit hopeful that it’ll happen as they were checking access was ok for their lorry.

No word on AO bits or the few bits that are coming direct from Homebase. I guess it’s watch this space for the remaining bits and pieces.

Been following as we have ordered kitchen and bathroom, although they attempted a surprise delivery of the bathroom on Friday wven though we cancelled it prior to their administration.

Been frustrated with the whole thing, Salesperson not actioning alterations, hoping the whole thing would get cancelled

I now have a delivery date for my appliances as well as my kitchen. Just waiting to hear on worktop and sink, and of course to see if it all actually comes!

Kitchen Deliverd; AO due 24th Dec , worktops 3rd of Jan all confirmed, showroom staff have been very helpful chasing up, only trouble due to delays fitter can't start till mid Jan, hope it goes as well for my fellow forum posters

Final update we got our appliance order from AO on Tuesday, we are still missing a grill insert for our in-built microwave but have been told we won't be getting that so we will have to get a credit for that. I suppose we should consider ourselves lucky 99% of it turned up good luck to everyone else waiting for deliveries to turn up.

Hi ,I have just received my kitchen on Monday and my a o appliances today.i have just to receive my sink from x p o.They have emailed me to say that the “free” multitap offer will not now be honoured. They have advised to go to store and pick a normal kitchen tap from available stock and then the sink will be delivered.

I now have delivery dates for every part of my kitchen. Fingers crossed it all comes!

Update: my son's kitchen arrived on the 5th delivery date given to him. There's a couple of damaged bits. So contacted store and they said the items would be replaced on 24th December, but guess what? They never turned up 😡 back to chasing it up again

Please can I ask if this was from the CountryLiving/House Beautiful kitchen range? I hope the items are delivered

Final update from me.

kitchen from Country Living all arrived as planned which is a huge relief and only the AO.com order outstanding but that should arrive next week just as the fitters arrive. Bit annoyed with AO as they’ve been reluctant to do anything beyond referring us back to the original “you ain’t getting anything, mate” text which left us wondering whether to simply order again and just get the finance bit amended to finally giving us a date for delivery. Talk about leaving it to the last minute!

Holding off cancelling the S75 claim for now until I actually have the goods delivered but it looks like everything should work out in the end.

Fair play to our Homebase kitchen consultants. They’ve been chasing in the background and liaising with our fitter throughout even though our store is basically a shell now and not one that’ll be kept on as a Range or whatever so best of luck to them in their future endeavours.

Hope everyone else caught up in the debacle gets sorted.
