Just a reminder that it won't be the the numerical credit score/rating that you are given from the CRAs, but the underlying data on your credit file. It would be worth requesting a copy of your reports from all 3 CRAs (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion) in a week or two to see what data could have led to the decline. If you want to go full hog, then you could also request data from CIFAS and National Hunter as well.0 -
Can I get this switch offer if I've just got the £36 offer for joining as a new member?0

Any thoughts on if the £1500 can be transferred in from another Santander account?
It doesn't actually say in the terms.
But then would that be viewed as offer abuse and restrict the joining reward?0 -
Can the £1500 just go in and straight back out, I presume?0

There's nothing in the terms stating it needs to remain in the account for any amount of time, so yes you can transfer in/out. Just be mindful that if it's a new account it might trigger security if you're transferring to an account you haven't transferred to before1 -

Ive put a request in and it gave me the choice of today for the switch, which I thought was odd? Be handy of this goes through and I get the £150 and then I think that will be me done on switches for another year or so. There's no-one else I can go back to0
