I have a court date on 28th November 2024. 

The company is One Parking Solution.

The location is Brighton, England.

I have appealed and received an email confirmation. However, OPS ignored my appeal and demanded payment without responding to the appeal.

What did you put in as your defence?

Not the appeal... the defence please.

The parking notice was at my previous address in Newhaven Marina, I had a parking permit but it was not clearly shown.

I appealed on the basis that I had a parking permit and apologies for the permit was not clearly shown. My daughter had surgery at the hospital the night before which affected my attention.

My defense is that I did not cause them any damage or loss because I was legally parking in my parking spot.

What was your exact wording because this is contract law and nothing to do with legality, and pre-estimate of loss is an old non-valid defence approach.

You'll likely have to weave the template defence and witness statement into one document bundle and try to make it all look like a third person witness statement.

Hi, I don't have the exact copy of my defense, but I was something like the following:

I had permission to park at the address mentioned as that was my home address. As soon as I noticed the violation, I appealed and received an email confirming this. I apologized for not showing my parking permit as I did not noticed it was dropped due to my daughter’s medical condition, as she had undergone surgery, which affected me greatly. But I did not receive any response to the appeal, only demands for payment. I tried repeatedly to contact them, but unfortunately I was unable to speak to them, as the connection was interrupted with a voice message advising me to follow the steps shown in the violation ticket, and I received a reply to the emails saying that they do not read the emails.
