Indeed it was - everything is settled and we go to sign on Friday next week! …and I have to say again - she is atypical of all the lawyers I've ever met!

@Humdinger1- haha that did make me laugh - I'm so sick of calling people out! Didn't win last week's set for life lottery so I'm still at it!

@Cheery_Daff - unfortunately the property saga is seperate from the wills - given that it most probably won't be settled in his lifetime so atm it is me as poa and then it will be me as executor. - one way or the other I won't be letting the Ex get away with her particular brand of bad behaviour!

So today's musings…

Financial…
1) look into home insurance - 21 days in advance of renewal - my old insurance has been handed over to the underwriters as the N-point bank no longer exists - sigh - first I check with the banks I already do business weitweith then will look at comparison sights!
2) book a boiler service - overdue and covered my my homecare agreement
3) last mortgage payment in the 5 year fix is upcoming - 2.32% going - new rate going into place as of Sept 11st but payments only going up by 30 pounds - no great shakes given I already pay extra every month - once redundancy sets in, I'll have to reduce the overpayments temporarily until next position is found.

Garden…
1) Patio is looking lush atm with the potted plants, figure out which seeds to start for autumn blooms - last year dwarf sunflowers were a hit - this year I'd like something similarly cheery
2) repot baby trees - which I'd now label as toddlers - the sun has done most of them good - not so much my maple - hilarious that a Canadian can't grow a healthy maple!
3) call in pest control - the far end of the garden seems to have visitors thanks to the peanut feeder next door

Household…
1) put together new dining chairs
2) put totogether birthday arbour - on hold due to OH's medical
3) finish stocking first aid kit for car


So three sets of three to get me grounded for the week.

Indeed - I'm happy to buddy up - lol - I'm not redundant yet though - going through the consulation motions so the employer can check the boxes - lol - probably next week - i'm currently persuing a grievance as we have an internal process if we disagree!

OK - not quite baby Ents of the Tolkein realm - but 3 feet high now and very healthy compared to the under a foot high and unsure if they really wanted to grow up to be trees situation of earlier this year!
