any way to shield from loud neighbours with outside tv in open hut?

thanks guys.. it was a very valid reason for backing out, and it was only off the market a week.. it's not like i dropped out at a late dateMany thanks to all who contribute on MSE1

the agent who sold me the bungalow told me i was a princess and was very negative, and no property was good enough for me, and told me it was nomal for people to have loud outdoor tvs.. and he has refused to show me any more from his agency as he says im not reliable... he is acting like the only person who has ever pulled out of a sale in the early days .. i find it so hard to stand my ground with agents because of my mental health.

The agent is probably responding in that way because he has realised they may struggle to sell the property. If any future interested parties find out a sale fell through and ask why, the EA *should* answer honestly with the reason you gave, and I'd hazard a guess not many people want to buy a bungalow next door to people who regularly cause such a noise disturbance.3

Faerielight, the fact that the EA has thrown their toys out of the pram seems to confirm you have made the right decision.
They are most likely upset as they were about to offload a nightmare property onto you, and to gain some commission on top. When you pulled out of the sale, they saw their commission flying out of the window and now need to find another buyer.
Don't worry about the EA, just think what a nightmare it could have been listening to the neighbours' TV every night and being kept awake by wild parties.

First things first, you are trying to sell because the place you live in has shared costs, which you can't afford.
The owner most affected by the roof repairs paid for them but is now making your life miserable because you can't afford to pay your share. Hence this is why you are looking to move.
I would go to somewhere like Citizens Advice and ask them your legal rights. If you have your house deeds that would really help as it will say what you are responsible for.
Also ask yourself is this the only reason for moving?
How likely are more repairs costs in next 5 years where you live?
If you don't have family could you look at moving further away and getting another carer ?
If moving is going to leave you with so little money, you may end up with repairs you can't afford in the future on a bungalow solely your responsibility.
Get some personal financial advice to help you decide on a good plan of action.

im sorry to hear of the problems you have had but agree with the others that you have made the right decision to not buy the bungalow
We live in sheltered housing run by a Housing Association. There are 33 individual flats and communal areas with a 100 ft lounge. We’ve had some great get togethers
The properties are rented only and the rents are very reasonable. Everything is included in the rent, all the maintenance and repairs. Repairs are carried out quickly. We have a laundry room which has Miele professional washers and dryers, unlimited use included.
The HA has properties all over England.Anyone 55+ can have one or any age if they are disabled. You don’t need to go through the council, you can apply directly, details on the website.
There are waiting lists for the most desirable areas such as the Isle of Wight/other coastal areas but inland the lists are shorter
