The dice rolls are definitely luck @Sue-UU - no skill required, I just roll the dice as you would in monopoly! Except these go up to a 20 sided dice and then a 10 sided which goes up in 10’s

The noise used to bother me too Sue-UU but they've had peacocks for so many years, we are used to it now. It's only recently they've started wandering over the road to our house though. We have bought cones to fit over our pots to give the plants a chance but they'll have to come off at some time otherwise we can't see the flowers! Other than covering them every night or getting up at 5 am because that's when they come and do the most damage, I can't see how we can stop them. We don't encourage them and if we see them we chase them out. Next year, I'll have to try different bedding plants 🪴

Did our neighbourly monthly litter picking and found a few coppers while out and about. Still waiting for a windfall of course :D

Hope you all had a good start to June, and if not I hope it gets better! :)

Still around, still potting away, not a lot over the last week though, my debit card has been suspended because of fraud. Some cheeky so and so tried to take £800 from my account!! I got in touch with my bank and it looks as if someone has signed me up for a subscription of £45 per fortnight. The CSA asked me if I had mistakenly done it myself -er, I don't think so. I wouldn't sign up for something at £90 per month!!!! I can, like all of us spend stupid money but not that much! I had an immediate refund of over £150 and a text the other day saying there had been a cancellation of a payment of £45. Fortunatly I have some cash so I should be ok until my new debit card arrives.

Hello SPCers! I hope you've had a good week, now enjoy the weekend.
To all those of you who are poorly or low in any way, take very great care and get well soon. Very best wishes from us all here on SPC  3

Oh crikey, that's obviously why I didn't go any further with it when we all asked about it a few months ago LMD. It sounds a little more complicated than I thought it might be! However, I still so happy for you that you're still doing very well with it. Carry on the brilliant work!
Excellent work with your latest £25 potted! 👏👏

That makes sense Siju, I suppose you're bound to get used to it after a fair while. Our only real time with them was when T and I were camping with the 3 elder grandchildren, they were so close to us too!
Good luck with the cones as you'll definitely need to be able to see them.
It makes you wonder what on earth attracts them to the begonias!

Excellent work in collecting coins while collecting your monthly litter picking BeyondDirect982!!
A very good start to June to hubby and I thanks, you too I hope.

Hello Lucy, lovely to see you!  :)
Oh my gosh, what swines! 😡 I'm so pleased you were given an immediate refund, but thank goodness you were on the ball and noticed. It seems as though scammers are constantly on the lookout for anyway to get money from us.
Thank goodness your bank were quick in refunding you so promptly!
Let's hope you're able to gain some money to pot asap.
Come and see us more often, it would be lovely to catch up.
    Take care xxx

Another excellent roll of the dice LMD!!

So very sorry to keep you all waiting for so long, folks. T  & I have both had hospital appointments, plus our DD has been quite poorly with her MS, poor girl. She's had a different Dr as her normal one is on holiday. She's been having water infection after water infection over the last few months and has been in a great deal of pain, plus he's given her a course of just 3 antibiotics pills at a time instead of 7!!  :o  She's no better now and her MS nurse is not well and there's no stand in!

Have a good Thursday and take great care!

Declaration Day for SPC 0025 is October 23rd.............BEFORE --- BUT NO LATER, please!

If anyone would like to join the thread, please just ask at anytime and you will be made very welcome!

Sorry your DD has been so unwell Sue-UU and I hope she starts to improve soon. Its hard to believe there are no substitute MS nurses available to see her but I know that this is often the case when it comes to a specialist teams.

£61.40 from my round up account has been added to my pot. Enjoy the weekend, the weather is improving and Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's 😊
