    Good evening, everyone!

£38 and something potted from TopCashback, which was from booking a hotel for Easter.  We'd have stayed anyway, so this is an added bonus!

    Have a good weekend!

Hello SPCers! I hope you've had a good week, now enjoy the weekend.
To all those of you who are poorly or low in any way, take very great care and get well soon. Very best wishes from us all here on SPC  3

So very many thanks Siju. Sadly urine infections are part and parcel of MS, but this particular Dr had apparently not had any dealings with MS before. Yesterday DD asked him to check back the treatments she'd previously had from her former Dr, and finally, after goodness how many times of telling him she normally receives a 7 day course he gave her what was needed! That was yesterday so hopefully, she may soon begin to recover, I do hope so.

Excellent on the amount potted from your round up account!! 😀

A very Happy Father's Day to all dad's and those with wonderful memories of them.

NO Jakes-mum, there's no opening up until 23rd October!! Grrr 😡 Very well done with what you managed to pot!! 😀

Hi Vicky! Very well done with your TopCashBack money potted! An added bonus as you'd have booked the hotel anyway! 😀

T & I have a few days off in the New Forest next week, with the forecast of good weather it should be lovely!

Could I kindly ask you to look after the thread Siju? I'd much appreciate it if you're able. 🥰
    Have an excellent week everyone.

Have what's left of an AMAZING WEEKEND, a good week ahead too and take great care!

Two separate roadkill finds recently - That’s an extra 22p in addition to other regular potting.

Enjoy your time ‘back home’ in the New Forest Sue
I’ll be down that way at the end of the week to pick up Mrs Mac from her holiday with her Mum

Another £2.25 cashback which has been potted.

I hope that everyone is okay and coping with the hot weather (if you're in the UK!).

    Still potting steadily.

Driving down from Somerset to Bournemouth and back today was horrendous in this heat. Definitely not my cup of tea although I know lots of people love it

I'm one of those loving the hot weather but only because I don't have to go anywhere 🤣 looks like it'll cool down this week, so at least it'll be more comfortable for sleeping.

Another small amount of change and five pounds this week. Happy Summer Solstice 🌞

Hello Potters! I hope you've all had a good week, a lovely weekend too.

You jammy so and so Ant!! 😱 Seriously though, very well done!
Many thanks, I'm sure we will. Have safe journeys when you collect Mrs Mac and her mum. We'll make sure we will have cleared the New Forest of any roadkill! 😀

A brilliant amount potted LMD!! 😀

Oh my gosh, hasn't it been blisteringly hot this last week! 🥵

Monday: oh by golly wasn't it ever ridiculously hot on Friday, Ant!!! 🥵🥵 T & I were mad enough to decide on a caravan holiday this time round... never ever again!! 😱. Another couple were staying until today...in order to go to a market at New Milton!! 😱
They even had a poor 14 year old dog with them, in a pram! Poor little sweetheart, far too hot, they even took it to Studland beach with them..in a PRAM it was that poorly!!

Anyway, aside from the heat we thoroughly enjoyed it, especially in the New Forest, so very, very beautiful. 🥰 Some parts we've known for years were lovely and shady, a joy to relax in whilst listening to the birds, bliss.
Any other time we'd have thoroughly enjoyed it all, but oh that heat!!
    5p roadkill though, can't be bad. 😂

Hi Vicky, and well done with the £2.50. Oh this heat is so oppresive! 🥵

I'm pleased you enjoyed the heat Siju, I know it makes a difference when you don't have to go anywhere, and for us, our house is so very cool in summer, a joy to return home to.  Poor darling, he's absolutely sound a sleep right now (due to the lack of B12).
He has to have it tested in a fortnights time so that'll tell us a lot.
Very well done with your £5! 😀

Very many thanks with your help with the thread Ant & Siju! Very much appreciation to you both  <3<3

Hi all, £24.05 into the Plum pot this week.

Plum has been on hiatus for the last couple of weeks due to the latest of my 2 trips/events hitting me in the purse!

London to see Rhys Darby was sweltering.  This one was just 3 of us who met last August at his other show in London.  The show was fabulous, we were on the end of the 3rd row and so made it into the end-of-show selfie.  There was a thunderstorm during the show and it was raining when we came out, but we were also staying in a top floor flat across from the Shepherd's Bush Empire and it was 54 steps to get to the front door.  A proper sweatbox for 3 of us.  That was the Friday, on the Saturday we went to Camden and round the market where I splurged.  I had a bad month with anxiety and was so ready for that weekend away I didn't care.  And tbh I don't do that often (DH would disagree) but at one point my card got blocked and I had to confirm to my bank that it was me

Back home in Sheffield to see Rhys Darby was also sweltering.  This time the 4 of us all met in town and mooched around together for the afternoon, had lunch, etc., before the show.  We were rewarded by being the only people to see Rhys and his pal/support act Steve walk into the City Hall for the show. There was literally no one else around (being local we knew to be at the bar that looks out on to the back of the venue whilst I guess everyone else was at the front).  It was tempting to shout him but we respected his boundaries.  When we got inside, we discovered that the front row that I booked from the seating plan (in an arc around the front of the stage) was in fact just a single row of 8 chairs about 3ft from the stage which, compared with Shepherd's Bush, was also much lower.  As a result at one point during the show he spoke directly to us and made mention of the fact that we had booked our seats REALLY early (within hours of them going on sale) It was part of the show, he's not the sort of comedian who picks on members of the audience. Sadly he didn't post an IG story about being in Sheffield (as he has for most if not all other places on the tour) and we didn't get a stage selfie either (which would have been epic given how close we were) but the layout meant he had to get off the stage and out before the audience coming down from the balcony as it was shared space.  It's probably the smallest gig he did (425 seats and with a bar in the same room!) and in his own words, "what a weird place and who knows, possibly the best of the tour"  BUT we did see him enter the venue!

The following day we went to Scarborough so even less moneysaving but it was a lovely day, very quiet but lovely and sunny.  Now just 40 days to go until we haul ourselves to Edinburgh for his live podcast show AND his comedy show on the same day at the Fringe.
