You really are a fan @MrsShazbat! Sometimes we worry so much about saving, but you've got to enjoy life too and it looks like you are doing just that 😍

Our life has been quite hectic this week. We had a call from DD on Sunday lunchtime to say she was in a park with the children and thought she had broken her ankle. We dashed down the motorway to rescue her. I took Barnaby home and DH took her and the baby to the hospital. The doctor said she had broken it and they sent her home in a boot and told her to ring on Tuesday. When the radiologist reviewed the X Ray it turns out it's only a bad sprain but because she had broken her ankle as a child the doctor had decided to treat it as a break. It caused a few days of mayhem and we are still looking after her dogs but thankfully she's on the mend now.

A few bits of change in the pot. Enjoy your weekend 😊

Hello Potters! I hope you enjoy a wonderful weekend, the few days after too. Protect yourselves from the sun!
To all those of you who are poorly or low in any way, take very great care and get well soon. Very best wishes from us all here on SPC  3

    Many thanks Siju 😀

An excellent amount in the Plum account MrsShazbat.
It sounds as though you're like me and don't cope at all well with heat, mine's due to thyroid problems. It was a wicked heat last week though.
We'll be at home from today until Tuesday and out of the heat for sure! 🥵
I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves though.

Oh your poor DD Siju! I'm so pleased she was treated by a very wise Dr, especially as these days they no longer treat sprains as they used to by putting compresses on. No doubt she'll recover relatively quickly.

Well done on whatever change you potted!

£20 taken from our account and transferred to the SPC account!!

Have a really WONDERFUL WEEKEND, and take great care in the sun!!

Hi everyone!  I hope you're all okay in this heat.  Yesterday was the hottest day round here (cooler today) and I thought at one point that I was sweating out of my eyeballs.  Nice, eh?!

Anyway, potting has continued and I've had various small bits of cashback.

Sorry I've been MIA, I have been checking in every now and then but not been up to posting.
I'm still putting all my loose change in my tins, one is full and I'm aiming to fill another one by counting day!

I'm getting married 4 weeks today so my head is full of wedding and I can't help feeling I've forgotten something 🙄...

Hi Vicky, I've no doubt we've all been steadily melting over the last couple of weeks. Yesterday was very hot, but the hottest for me was Saturday! 🥵 Though a lot depends on where you live, our DD, her hubby and 2 of their children plus their children have been on holiday in N Devon all week and T & l have been concerned about our lass as heat really affects her MS. We phoned her on Thursday evening and asked how she was and were quite relieved when she said she was quite chilly, but then temperatures have been quite a bit lower in Devon and Cornwall compared with here in Somerset. So good to know as they've all been in a caravan which is where we were melting in one when we were on holiday in the New Forest a couple of weeks ago. Never no more!

If there really was anything wrong with your eyes, it might be to do with grass pollen which has been very high. It affected me terribly in the first heat wave, but not my nose!
Strange, but the Pharmacist looked closely in both eyes and put it down to pollen, though it hasn't affected me this time!
Good to hear you're still potting, as if you'd ever not be! 🙄
    Take care Vicky!
Excellent potting with your £50 from YouGov! 👏👏 I no longer do it as it takes so long to get to the £50

Don't worry about being MIA JynErso you've clearly had plenty on your mind with your upcoming wedding!! Put your thoughts into that and make sure you have everything sorted out 👰‍💍🤵‍ for the big day and congratulations to you both!!! Keep potting and take care!

Hi Siju, I had a giggle about JynErso's words until I remembered my eyes in the last heat wave.
Very well done with your potting!
    You take care too!

I've been very immersed with Wimbledon all week, very exciting too! 🎾 I haven't forgotten you all though and have popped on daily (except yesterday).

Have a really WONDERFUL WEEKEND, and take a break from the sun while it rains!!

I don't do anything by halves @siju - I fully commit!  And on that note, I've been persuaded to stay in Edinburgh till the Friday with the others so..... July is officially my month off.  Let's see how that goes!

I figure it's a one-off because he's had to give up acting work for 18months-2 years to accommodate the tour so it's not something he can do every year.  Although if, as per the theme of his show, AI truly takes over maybe he'll have to return to the circuit!

Another £15 into the Plum pot this week, and the first purse clear-out for a few weeks put about £7 into the actual pot.  Hoping to use the cheeky switch mentioned in the weekly email today, to transfer back into Nationwide for the bonus.  Trying - and failing - to persuade DH to switch our joint account before it gets taken over by Nationwide anyway, but he's not interested.  Says it's not worth it.  He's such a fuddy-duddy about financial stuff.

Sorry I've not been able to update, I've not been able to log in for some time, so there is too much to catch up on!
No idea on how much I've potted, not a great deal as only the odd bit of change from my purse here and there.
I am doing the 1p challenge (although I won't reach the target) and I've made a bit from cashback sites and selling sites, so this will all go towards Christmas, new uniforms and shoes!
