For all those either ill or feeling down in any way, get well soon and best wishes from usall at SPCHi James! At last you've found your way back to us. I really did wonder 🤔 just where you were.Best save a lot of silver for 23rd October, before if you like, BUT NO LATER!!! And don't forget forget tother 2 pots along with the 3rd!I see your point with the money you have saved in a high interest account, see how you go when it gets closer to October.Take care of those joints! Hubby has arthritis all through his spine which has recently gone into his shoulder and neck. All the best with any break you may be taking. Hope to see you soon James.xxExcellent with your Plum account MrsShazbat!!! It's certainly not easy not having cash for whenever we need it.Well done with the 50p, Ant, and the change roundups!Excellent saving with the £20 plus change, mummytummy!!Oh good heavens above Lucy, how awful for Gordon's younger brother! 😣 So very, very sad indeed, and so very close to Gordon's sad passing.I know your 52nd Anniversary was close and you were hoping to make a lovely memory for the DGrandChildren. One thing I'm unsure of is, was it your elder DGS brother who was diagnosed with throat cancer? Or was it Gordon's elder brother? Either way it was obviously so terribly shocking for all the family. I really hope he recovers Lucy, the very best wishes to you all. It's little wonder you will be so very sorry to see the back of 2024.Condolences to all the family if it's all 3 brothers who have sadly passed on.Love and very best wishes to you and to all the family Lucy.Take very great care of yourself.xxxWishing you all a very good Wednesday and the following week!

Sorry to have been MIA, a good friend died last week and I'm not feeling very sociable at the moment.
I keep putting my loose change in the tin and I sold some bits the other day so I put that in the notes tin.

Sue-UU It was Gordon's eldest brother who was diagnosed with throat cancer, it's so sad because he survived bladder cancer 3 years ago and is now saying he wishes he hadn't had the surgery, I don't think he realised how much the surgery would impact his life.He has decided not to go for treatment this time but for palliative care. I understand that decision because of his age and the quality of his life at the moment
It's Gordon's youngest brother's funeral today, I'm expecting it to be very well attended because he was in the Army a long time and had kept in touch with his squaddie mates and gone to the reunion for his battery every year.Sealed Pot Challenge member 28

Hi SPCers, I hope you all enjoy a wealthy new year and a very happy weekend! For all those either ill or feeling down in any way, get well soon and best wishes from usall at SPCI'm so terribly sorry to hear of your so very sad news JynErso, no wonder you don't feel sociable. Let the tears flow when you need to and be kind to yourself. Sincere condolences to all the loved ones of your friend. ❤️So very sad to hear Lucy, especially as he'd already suffered from bladder cancer. I suppose I can understand him wishing he'd never had surgery for it, but on the other hand he may have gained the last 3 years as a result, but who knows? However, given his thoughts it's easier to understand why he's choosing not to go for anymore treatment and opt for palliative treatment instead. So very sad to hear Gordon's younger brother's funeral has taken place, but comforting to know he was thought so kindly of. Sincere condolences for all the family Lucy.Take great care of yourself.Love, T and I ❤️ xxxAn excellent £80 dice roll in your pot LMD!!! 👏Wishing you all a very good Weekend!!!

Home from our holiday to Spain and Portugal. We've topped up our vitamin D as the weather was fantastic and we we're grateful to miss the snow and storms back home. Not a lot of potting happening but I will put £10 into my pot today.
