Payday was yesterday, so a little bit of spreadsheet admin has resulted in £103 being potted. Very pleased with that! 

Heading to see Mamma Mia with a friend this weekend, which is only made possible by my pottings from the last SPC “year” (SPC #17).

Potted £1.75 from my purse last night after our works Xmas do in town - just can't entertain the idea of having no cash on me on a day/night out.  And there's another £20.56 in my Plum pot.

Hi Sue, hi all!

Sorry I haven't been around for what feels like a million years, Darn, I even missed the end of the last SPC even though I wrote myself a little reminder on my desktop, I'm so annoyed.

I still have my 2 tins!! I'm going to leave them sealed, potentially now needing a 3rd tin for silver.

I also have some interest coming my way soon too from some money I put away in a high interest savings account, it didn't seem a good idea to leave it (house sale proceeds) in my normal bank account...not sure what the amount will be but I may leave the amount alone again for another 12 months.

I hope you are all doing okay and are ready for winter, my joints are starting to ache. old age? the cold? Who knows.

I fancy a short weekend break somewhere, jusy to get out and away from work...Now where did that National Holidays brochure go to?

Will pop back again soon(er) than later!

Finally got started on my pot - £15 so far.
This year just gets better and better, Gordon't youngest brother died suddenly on the 28th October, he was in hospital with a kidney infection, went to the bathroom and it appears he fell and banged his head on something causing a bleed to his brain.
 It would have been our 52nd Wedding Anniversary, I thought we would have a lovely memory to go with the sadness of the day because DGS was being confirmed that day.  A few days later his eldest brother was diagnosed with throat cancer. We'll be happy to see the back of 2024 that's for sure.
