Welcome to October savers and welcome back @Suffolk_lass. Hope you enjoyed your holidays.
I am updating October as a big fat zero for me. We replaced my laptop and monitor in September and DH will be ordering his new PC next week so I will not be putting money in savings this month. Any spare money at the end of the month will be siphoned into our Christmas and Holiday pots as we have our Danube cruise to pay for in January and a trip to China planned for next year plus spending money for our Canaries holiday next month. The Christmas pot looks dire too as I raided it to replace our garage door so I have topped that back up.
I have still met my savings target for the year but don't expect to add anymore. I have moved it into my cash isa for now.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Thank you, @enthusiasticsaver, it was lovely. A week in Plockton in the Scottish Highlands, surrounded by another week at my Mum's including her 96th birthday celebrations. This month's savings will be modest as the CC took a right hammering, eating out (to support the local economy) and shopping local, although we did take wine from home.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2234.63/£3000 or 74.49% of my annual spend so far (not going to be much of a Christmas at this rate as no spare after 9 months!
