#21 Caeraugirl with £2300 for August please.
Son requires surgery on his knee after a nasty sports injury, which we've decided to pay for privately due to 18 month NHS wait (I work in NHS so this is an observation, not a criticism). I did think my savings would take a big hit as a result, but overnight had the idea of a 0% CC and have just secured one with 22 months and enough credit limit to cover the full cost, so hopefully I'm still on track for this year's target.

Just updated the spreadsheet to reflect the stage of the year (58.33%, averaged over the year) and added my own total for July, boosted by PB winnings to £1723.77 - my second month over £1700!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2234.63/£3000 or 74.49% of my annual spend so far (not going to be much of a Christmas at this rate as no spare after 9 months!
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread
