Zing £30 offer

I've tried several times to Get Started on this link after entering my phone number in various formats but no luck. Is it working for other people?

I entered my phone number without the first  zero and when I clicked Get Started it told me it was successful and to download the app.

If I click on Get Started again it says my number has already been entered so it looks like it's gone through.

ETA: I also entered my phone number the same way (without the zero) on the app and received my code ok.

Yesterday was a struggle to get it to work but it worked in the end. Then got email validation link which was displaying error. This morning the link started finally working. However now I have opened an account and tried to top-up from Lloyds I got told to call Lloyds team and they did not authorise the transaction. So I thought I will try to top up by card from Chase. Guess what... Transaction declined and message to call the fraud team! What is going on!? I always trusted Martine's recommendation but every step of this so far looks like a scam. Please share if anyone had similar experience. Thanks
  • I just had to phone Lloyds fraud team to confirm I was trying to set this up myself and I wasn't being conned. A bit of a hassle but the lady I spoke to was nice and said it was now authorised and next time I try it should go through. Just a warning for anyone who doesn't want the bother of phoning the fraud teams.
  • Still getting error message after opening app after email confirmation
  • I clicked on the link in the email using my laptop .

I filled out my phone number as requested and was told I needed to download the app which, of course, I couldn't do on my laptop.

I then went to my iPad and clicked on the link in the email so I would be able to download the app but was told that my phone number had already been used so I couldn't get the card.  No card and no thirty quid bonus!

Is there a way to alert the MSE Team about this - it's obviously not just me having problems!

TopCashback are giving £20 rather than £30 for the same deal - I'm beginning to think I'll do that instead...

There's no need to click the link in the email once you've entered your phone number using the link and it's been accepted. You can download the app using any device after that and as long as you register with the same phone number, you don't need to go through any link.

I joined today and transferred money from my Lloyds account and all straight forward.  I then via Apple Pay made a payment to British Gas online for £5.50 and all went through.

I then did a refer from my Zing account to a friend and this occasion was not via mse and that way I should refer an additional £30 and my friend will once they have met the conditions etc.
  • Finally got the MSE link to work. You have to have exactly the same number in both boxes - the UK calling code plus the full phone number.
