So presumably 4x £2 for each? And it's no problem it's 2 dds to the same thing?PRAISETHESUN said:

Both Moneybox and Plum allow a weekly deposit option - so it pulls 4-5 days per month depending on the number of weeks. For the on-going rewards they just want multiple £2+ DD payments taken each month, so a single mandate pulling multiple times is fine for this purpose and has worked for me for years without fail.s71hj said:

Note that this is completely separate from the switching incentive however, which requires 2x unique direct debits set up on the account.0 -
Excellent. Thanks for all the help. I'm aiming to get the household £24 a month automated income by setting this up with an account each with Natwest and RBS and a joint account for these.PRAISETHESUN said:

I don't think the Natwest switching incentive requires any dds.1 -
Sorry yes - I'm getting confused with other switch offers which do require them. No DDs required for this offer, but in general the point stands. A single mandate pulling multiple times won't satisfy a switch offer that requires 2+ DDs.s71hj said:

Is it possible to login to Natwests app on online banking on a laptop to be eligible for the £180 reward? I dont have an iphone!

Do you not have any sort of 'smartphone' (since you say no iPhone, an Android phone) or an Apple/ Android tablet? I think Android apps are still currently supported on Windows 11, though I read that's ending in 2025, I've never tried that so can offer no advice.P933alilli said:Is it possible to login to Natwests app on online banking on a laptop to be eligible for the £180 reward? But to answer your question, there's no straightforward way of circumventing the requirement to login to the NatWest mobile app using a laptop.0 -
Did the people that got the Ulster incentive in Feb/March this year manage to get the NatWest incentive this time?0

Thanks, no i havent got a smartphone so it looks like i wont be eligible for the £180 so it'll be a waste of time switching from santander!

I couldn't guarantee it will work but an emulator like bluestacks will let you install the app just obviously you can't use biometrics to login to the app like on a phone and I'd say 90% chance they will not allow you to login via that method but worth a go for £180 - nothing ventured and all thatP933alilli said:northwalesd said:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Q1) On the best bank account's page (https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/compare-best-bank-accounts/) It says: "Ends next Wed. NatWest: FREE £180 + cashback"
Where do they get this info from as I've looked on the NatWest website and the T&Cs and can't see an end date?
Q2) I also see it mentioned in this article: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/nationwide-lloyds-santander-natwest-warning-122842748.html?guccounter=1
Which also says: "The changes will see the end of switching offers". What changes are those?Q3) I take it, (if it does end Wed), it's too late to get the cash? Terms say: "(3) Request and complete a switch"0
