    Update
    I finally got to the bottom of this thanks to a very helpful person on the Google Help Community.
    It turned out that the issue was being caused by me having a Cyprus sim in slot 2!
    I took it out, uninstalled G Maps updates, rebooted and Geronimo! 🎉
    Timeline was visible ... and still is 24 hours later despite me putting the CY sim back in again. Let's just 🤞 that it continues to work!
