Money Moral Dilemma: Should I ask my friend to pay for charging his electric vehicle at our house?

It is never too late. Explain to your friend that you had no idea that the cost of charging his car was so high and that it would be much appreciated if he would at least 'make a donation' If he does, great, you can then tell him that next time he would have to pay full price (remember, after all,you are not a charity) If he doesn't come up with the readdies tell him to sling his hook. With friends like that who needs enemies0

Mods, please move this thread to another forum. This is not energy related, it's a relationship topic.1

His car didn’t charge properly overnight so, instead of charging elsewhere, he came to you house and asked you.
He’s squeezing the kidneys somewhat.0 -
Any chance this could be closed?2

I can't believe that he didn't offer to pay. Some friend! And why do you have an EV charger?0

Just because you are getting fed up don't spoil other people's sport.Emmia said:Any chance this could be closed?
You dont have to follow it if you are finding that its getting tedious. However others, with nothing better to do, are quite happy to keep it going.
.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers2 -
Unfortunately if you reply to a thread, you have no means as far as I can see of unfollowing.matelodave said:Emmia said:Any chance this could be closed?

Frankly I'd unfollow / block the whole section on parking if I could.0 -
They should give the option to ignore or hide individual threads0

^ it is possible to change notification settings to stop notifications from all threads participated, in and only notify of bookmarked threads. Then bookmark the threads you want to be notified of.
[But it would be handy to have notification options for individual threads without needing to bookmark.]0
