I am also on an iPhone and I can see the button (haven't used it yet, and have no intention to do so whilst my 7.1% RS is still alive

I'm on Android, the button was present earlier yesterday and I clicked through a couple of times to read the T&Cs. It disappeared later in the day, I'm wondering if I'm timed out for a period.

I have selected the 3% on DDs benefit which is to start from 3rd or 4th September. I have just opened a new 7.1% 6 month regular saver last week. While the regular savers are no longer going to be available, those who already have them open will have them until they mature. Choosing one of the new benefits will not affect this.

I've only just arranged for my 1500 to go out for my £30 on direct debits (on the old, but not oldest version of benefits where it can be done in one go rather than a monthly cap), so I'm not changing anything for a few weeks. On android and I don't have the option to change any benefits anyhow.

I notice the Zopa website only has the 2 cashback benefits to choose from now, and the additional account interest isn't listed as an option.

Has anyone who selected the new cashback on bills seen any details about what counts as a bill? Do most direct debits still count, or are they going the way of Santander and only counting certain bills? (edited to add that I've looked around the website and FAQs and can't see any amendments so it should be same as always).

Also interested in whether this will start from September, or if those of us who already got our full direct debit benefits for the year old older terms will have to wait for our anniversary date.

This is what I'm seeing now and the terms say the 7.1% will continue to the end of the existing term (in my case December).

  • Likewise after reading discussion re the Biscuit account somewhere on here (either this thread or the Regular Saver thread), I saw there was an option to switch my benefits - and like you, said option has now disappeared.

I'm on the 2% cashback up to £125 scheme and I'd just finished shifting around some of my DDs so as to ensure I was taking full benefit of that - and perhaps daftly I thought I should have a quick think and sanity check before pulling the trigger on switching my Biscuit benefit (plus I also have a linked RS with Zopa).

It's pretty obvious that 3% cashback up to £150 is worth sacrificing a percentage point of interest on the current account (i.e. 2% down to 1%), so hopefully the option to switch benefits will reappear. Seems their recent changes have been slightly messy in their implementation.

I've never bothered with the 2% cash in the current account anyway, always somewhere else, including their own savings pots, to get a better rate. I keep a token £1 in the account, and transfer money in from a savings pot the day before DDs are due.

It's only about a month's worth of dosh for the DDs that I keep in the Biscuit current account - for me, life's just too hectic to be constantly keeping track and transferring across the day before each date a DDs is due.

Re the interest, I suppose it's more the principle that it's better the money is earning some interest rather than none… but of course, whilst 1% isn't 2%, it's better than 0%… and likewise a monthly £4.50 cashback on DDs (3% on £150) is better than a monthly £3 cashback (2% on £125).

Perhaps the option to switch the benefit will make a reappearance.
