I find it irritating that my savings pots are now in value order. Which obviously changes. I much preferred when they were ordered by creation date. The benefit being it aligned with my budget spreadsheet. A minor annoyance but, meh, I’m still wanting to moan about it.

Looks like Zopa have changed the direct debit cashback to £125 a month cap. I haven't been notified of this, so perhaps only new customers?

I forget the expiry date, but my son opened a 7.1% regular saver last month and got less than 12 months.

A bit annoying but still easy to get for little effort with a scheduled monthly moneybox deposit or similar with another savings provider.

The Zopa website now shows that 2% is payable on up to £125 per month of HOUSEHOLD BILLS paid by Direct Debit. That's scuppered that then.

I had a look through the terms and cannot find a definition or any examples of household bills so it's likely any direct debit will still qualify.

Zopa may be using the words "household bills" rather than direct debits as it will be understood by more people.

Are they directing their product at children?

If someone doesn't understand what a "direct debit" is then perhaps they shouldn't be trusted with a bank account.
