Sorry to hear about your split embb :(

    Morning all

Two loads of washing done, including DD's bedding. Bedding out on the line, the rest draped round indoors. Dry so far and we've had some sun but it's clouding up now. *watches sky*

Neighbour must have a new year's resolution, I can hear her treadmill going!

I did the bathroom and toilet yesterday while I was up doing the bedrooms. I've damp-wiped the living room and the computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs.

Yesterday I deleted some rubbish off the computer and did a defrag.

This morning I went through my documents file and shredded some out of date stuff and rubbish.

Went into understairs cupboard (shock, horror) and sorted out UHT milk and juice cartons to see what I've got left before the next lot of shopping comes next week.

    Think that's enough for now.

Anyone fancy a mini doughnut with lemon frosting???

Finally gave in and bought a doughnut maker from Currys on new years day - well they had reduced them to £10. Made a batch at MIL but her baking powder was dated 2002:eek: so they didnt turn out so well. Just made a batch using D&DD's recipe and they are too nice:D . DD1 not keen on the lemon frosting (weird child:p ) so plain batch for her cooling. Have also put dough in BM to make D&DD's apple braid. Kitchen now needs a clean down but my tummy is full of lovely doughnuts (shame my belly looks like one:rotfl: :o ).

Good to see you, Dusty and Mumoftwo, thanks for the WB, it feels good to be home!!! Freya is an absolute darling, as is Owen. I'll post pics to show their progress if I can work out how...I'm such a techno-phobe.

Not quite - I haven't actually started! Got out of the shower and carpenter/friend showed up to measure up to quote for some drawers to go under the bed it littlies room so had a coffee with him. Then friend phoned to cancel this afternoon as her little one is not well so chatted to her and then the kids wanted lunch.

I have promised DS3 I will read to him now so will do that and then go upstairs - DS2 says it is tidy in his room for cleaning - he is usually good so we shall see.

DS1 wants me to make gingerbread men as he says they will stop him feeling sick.

No snow here but very cold.

Embb hugs hun. This is a really stressful time of year and lots of couples hit trouble, is there any chance it will blow over?

The market was very disappointing (mind you, it's a long time since I've been there on a Thursday). The veg man just had a load of fruit and a couple of sticks of celery. No veg at all. I'm off to the physio tomorrow (in the next town along) so maybe I'll look for the greengrocers there.

    My Thursday flying list:

    Thursday Bathroom and Study/Pc Area

    Level One
Clean floors in these rooms (even if it is around the clutter)
    Level Two
    Clean baths, toilets and sinks
[STRIKE]Clear any clutter from desk [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Dust PC and desk, wet cloth may be needed for cup rings[/STRIKE]
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    Level Three
    Clear clutter from floor
    Wipe down tiles in bathroom
    Defragment the pc

[STRIKE]Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required[/STRIKE] Washed and now drying
    Extra mission:
Pick whichever you want to attempt:
    • Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
    • Clean vacuum cleaner out, brushes, filters, whatever else needs doing (make sure it's dry before using it again!)
    • [STRIKE]Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc[/STRIKE] Drying - spare set put out
    • Sort a wardrobe or part of, a drawer or set of drawers making sure it has what needs to be in it and any 'extras' are put where they should be
    • Give the pc desk a good clean! Pull out the case, printer, scanner and all those coffee mugs!
Account stuff: · [STRIKE]Find bank statements and date order them[/STRIKE]
·[STRIKE] Find company cc statements and date order them[/STRIKE]
·Find invoices in and date order them
·[STRIKE] Print off invoices out and date order them[/STRIKE]
    · [STRIKE]Compile bank in spreadsheet[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]· Compile bank out spreadsheet[/STRIKE]
    · [STRIKE]Compile CC spreadsheet[/STRIKE]
    · Compile purchases spreadsheet
    · [STRIKE]Compile mileage spreadsheet[/STRIKE]
    · [STRIKE]Compile PAYE/NI spreadsheet[/STRIKE]
    · Compile Director's loan spreadsheet Half done - just need to see if I can find a few more receipts to put through which will help reduce my upcoming tax bill by a few pence
    Extras:
    • Take down christmas decs
    • Get DS to put christmas decs box in loft
    • Do the cards thing
    • [STRIKE]Go to the market and buy fresh veg[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Whilst in town buy: [/STRIKE]
      • [STRIKE]Numbered padlock for gate (existing one not working anymore)[/STRIKE]
      • [STRIKE]Sleeper earrings (I've lost one!)[/STRIKE]

    It's SNOWING here!

Well, if you can count the tiny talcy flecks that fell for all of two minuets! :rotfl:

Still, kids got excited! And it cheered me up a little.

Got to the post office and posted off the bus, managed not to drop dead at £8.39 postage.
