lbn.. I found some pretty scary things in our fridge today.. rustled it into something resembling bubble and squeak and fed the mush to everyone with sausages and furry sweet potato wedges.. Tomorrow we have droopy leeks and greasy parsnips to use up.. but I have a turkey casserole planned so that should conquer my fridge pongs.. I am hoping by next Monday to have the fridge run down to almost empty so I can do a reasonable tesco shop and replenish it.
I need to invest in a grandma trolley (they are so much fun to drag along!) so once I have despatched children off to school I can go buy Lidl's veggies and get them home without doing myself untold injuries with carrier bags!
I have a Lakeland order to do if cash allows.

That's just a variation on the post that disappears completely...:D
I am really pleased with how much I've got done today, although I'm working off list this week, and probabaly next week as well. I have removed all my belongings from the bedroom, and all of the magazine mountain has been relocated to the tip. OH said in shock when he got home 'What have you done with all the magazines?' I reminded him that he said I could get rid - so the minute he was out of the house, in the car they went! He's upstairs at the moment, removing all his belongings. I just gently mentioned that I shall be taking the old wardrobe and the chest of drawers to the tip as well asap, and he looked shocked. Please tell me that I don't have the only one who never ever listens to a word I say. Next time I'll send him an email to his work address, perhaps with one of those lovely countdown thingies that pigpen had for Christmas!!
He's just come back downstairs to comment that we won't have a wardrobe, so are we supposed to be getting the new one soon??? Really, I give up. I downloaded the Ikea wardrobe planner last week, and suggested that he sketched out the storage that we needed....
I also whisked downtown so DD could buy birthday presents for twin friends, and managed to get out of Boots with only the present that we went in for, despite the attraction of the BOGOF photo albums with 200 points. I'll just have to go back for that...;)
Tomorrow they all go back to school, so bathroom blitz and weekly shop in the morning, then in the afternoon I shall wash down the walls, hopefully sand the woodwork, and polyfilla (one of my favourite jobs, I'm very attached to polyfilla)It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
I need to invest in a grandma trolley (they are so much fun to drag along!)
A Sholley darling - oh so fashionable just now! Flying out the door at our last ladies shopping night at school,
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

DH has stopped tripping the electrics - sorry, sorting out the kitchen - for the evening. I went to check my woolworth's order for DSs birthday next week to see that the payment hadn't gone through...according to them! Lovely of them to tell me. When I went to reorder I noticed the delivery date was now in February instead of January 7th so I think they just realised they couldn't deliver. Have ordered it all on Amazon for less money so just hope things arrive. If not he can have them late as a special treat!
I admire everyone's long lists - dedication! If anyone finishes their lists and wants to help me out feel free.
Thanks again for everyone's kind thoughts - you're a fab lot! xxJanuary budget

Ive lost my post, or the plot or something. Someone tell me why shopping with my MIL each week makes me lose the will to live. She was so RUDE today to the shop assistant in Woolworths. Told her that she was paid to serve customers not chat (to me whilst being served!) and people were waiting (her) and then proceeded to chat with her whilst being served. The poor woman didnt know what to do but kept smiling. I did get my revenge though (naughty me!!) when I turned to her and told her to stop chatting to the assistant as she was only paid to serve, not chat to people!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
Shes a lovely lady really, but shes got to the age (85) when she thinks she can say what she wants and doesnt care what anyone else thinks - oh and the world revolves around her!
Anyway, that finished off my day nicely !!!
LJD big hugs for today
Lilme - that allergy sounds horrendous, we are all allergic to plasters, but fortunately only an itchy rash - when DS was born, he was fed by tube (in SCBU) and they taped it across his face - we kept saying it wasnt a good idea, and when he ripped it off his face, the stripes made him look like a red indian - and they still couldnt see the problem!!!! But that said, we have problems in different areas, we are all allergic to penicillin (the most common antibiotic) and I am also allergic to some others, which only leaves one family of antis that I can take But the saddest thing in all of this, as you said, is that no matter how many times you tell them, you might as well be explaining it to the teapot, because they take no notice!!!
Anyway, cant find my list so this is what I have done
Changed bed in master bedroom
Changed bed in DS bedroom
Cleaned bath
Bath/ears and nails for DS
Taken MIL shopping
Delivered parcels
done the TD/DW/WM bits
Think thats the lot - DS back at school tomorrow so some P & Q at last!!!:j :j :j (how awful) and no, Im not visiting the MIL either!! will post list in morning - nighty night for now LiloLive on £4000 a year again for 20110
