Evening to anyone still up.
Have had another grotty day recovering. Still got a chesty cough today and also recovering from a bout of hives that started last night. I havent a clue what I have had that caused it but face lookod like I've done a few rounds with Bruno. Thankfully its going down now, but I've been left shattered. I forced myself to take the dog out this afternoon and have only managed to feed the WM and TD in between sleeping on the sofa. I am definitely in this week and will have to force myself to start the list as back to work on Wed and need to be on top before then.
Think I might have to get rid of the decs maybe NYD as then I can do the living rooms properly while I have time.
Off to check out the other threads before bed, so will say g'night to you all
KazMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

[/strike]- Clean OVEN yes I know you all hate that one wonder how many choose it - shouldnt take long seeing as its new, but im going to keep it clean.
- Check the freezer, maybe work what is in there into your meals for the week so you can spend less on groceries - once everythings out for NYE its being cleaned out as there will be about 3 things in there!!!
Right off to bed, im down off my high from late night ice skating, only fell over once, not bad considering i havent been for 6 years.
Oh edit to say, DECS ARE GONE !!! Couldnt stand the mess any more!0 -
Im back in this week too. The last of the entertaining was today, and Im quite pleased that the house stood up to several days of entertaining a lot of people and still be standing. Its not too bad tidy wise, but the kitchen is under a mountain of washing up following 12 to dinner today, so Im glad it is the kitchen tomorrow - Im keeping the dishwasher fed but its slow work!!!
I hate decorations after Christmas - I can never see the point of starting a new year, with the previous years decorations, but I try and contain myself as long as I can. What I may do is take most of the decorations down and just leave the tree til the weekend. Maybe thats a plan!!!
Once I have restored the kitchen, I must start on my hotspots!! The spare room is ABSOLUTELY full, from the clear up before Christmas, and our bedroom is just minging - please do NOT laugh, but we got to bed at 2.30 on Christmas Eve, and as I got in bed I said to DH, the bed is wet - the cat had peed on the bed soaking the bedcover, duvet cover and duvet!!!!!!!!! Still thanks to flylady and the cleaning of the airing cupboard, I was able to find really quickly the spare duvet, cover and bedcover and have the bed changed and remade in under 10 minutes!!
BUT Does anyone know how to get cat pee out of a duvet - I have given it a quick soak in disinfectant, but it STINKS - and it is only 6 months old so I dont want to bin it - ANY ideas gratefully received!!!!!!!!!!
