**seconds the effing fireworks** bloomin' dogs crying now, fingers crossed the boys stay asleep!
Well I was going to stay up for DP getting home, town was quiet last year so he was in at 2am, but like I said it was a Sunday so might be different. Well this year it's very different, pubs are opening much later 4-6am depending which one, so looks like he's out until morning, told him I want breakfast in bed, so I'll end up with cereals or toast if he does :rotfl: so I think I will watch the Corrie I recorded and go to bed.One day I might be more organised...........

Happy new year to all of you lovely ladies.
I saw in the new year in real flylady style - I reached the bottom of one of the baskets of iron mountain, 3 hours it took and it was all DD's stuff I lost count when I got to over 80 items - that girl has too many clothes for an 8 year old !
So I hope you all have a grand 2008, I'm off to me bed

- Check the freezer, maybe work what is in there into your meals for the week so you can spend less on groceries
THANK YOU to pigpen and lilme for your suggestions re duvet - I am hoping that airing it outside will solve the problem. It is a huge super kingsize winter quilt so I have b** all chance of fitting it in my washing machine - and we dont seem to have a laundrette in my town?!? Am checking out the machines at the sheltered accom where stepdad/MIL live and hoping that might be big enough - we will see.
Night night all - tomorrow is another day - and a peaceful one as DH is off to watch the football on a VIP event - very nice. I get to look after DS and do the housework - but I am on my nice shiny new laptop which was a xmas/anniversary present so I am prepared to overlook everything at the moment¬!!!!!Live on £4000 a year again for 20110 -
lilo - dry cleaners usually do duvets aswell if you get no joy elsewhere. There isn't a laundrette in the town where I live but there is a couple in villages and housing areas. As for the sandwich meats, should be fine, I usually freeze it sliced in 'usable' portions, I'd rather get 2 smaller ones from the freezer when needed than waste half a large one.
Right, late, I'm off to bed, see you all tomorrow, well, in the morning :rotfl:One day I might be more organised...........
