2 more for yesterday and today to end the month please
LMD x
I will aim for 18 again in November as I am away and it's getting closer to Christmas
LMD xLife gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2026 1p challenge #7 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £4685/£60001 -
Claiming last two of the month for yesterday and today, taking me to my target of 18 for the month.
Up until now, I've not counted any automated bills / direct debits but have counted all grocery and diesel spends, including my weekly food delivery. I actually think this has hampered my attempts to stop spending unnecessarily as I just tend to piggyback other spending on delivery or additional food spend days as "I'm already spending anyway"...
So for next month I'm going to try excluding the weekly food delivery, essential food top up shops and any diesel spends and see whether that changes my patterns.
If anyone else has any tips and hints I'd love to hear them.
Thanks @cathybird for continuing to run the challenge, it's really helped me think about and improce my spending habits.#15 Save £12k in 2026 £6000/£120001 -
