And stick around in August to take part in the Government's Public Consultation. We have an important thread about that and we need ALL Defendants to respond to the questions to shape the regulation of this rogue industry,

Please come back in a couple of weeks.
Have you bookmarked or done this yet?

Really important the government hears from you. We need DRFees banned completely and a proper single appeals service:

Iv had a brief read of the consultation but not sure how best to answer any of the questions with anything except offensive ramblings which wont help, I'm just a simple motorist bit beyond me
I know you dont want to provide template answers but can you suggest how to answer questions in a meaningful way to help the cause?
I'd like to help as my Wife has literally just recieved a Letter of Claim from Baysentry from 2021 no idea what for.

I do intend to post an idea for response to each question and which ones to leave blank but it will take me into next week to do that.

    1. I've had a brief read of the consultation but not sure how best to answer any of the questions with anything except offensive ramblings which won't help, I'm just a simple motorist bit beyond me

    2. I'd like to help as my Wife has literally just received a Letter of Claim from Baysentry from 2021 no idea what for.
    1. Every voice needs to be heard to tell the Government that we/you are fed up with being treated as cash cows by the bloodsuckers (as mentioned in parliament) and they need to be regulated.  You/your wife are exactly the right sort of people to complete the consultation as you have been through or are going through, the process, as you can speak/write from experience.  You can tell the consultation exactly how you feel/felt about the PCN and and how the PPCs treat you and that they need regulating.
Some (by no means all and look out for further posts about the consultation in the coming week from @Coupon-mad) specific factors that need addressing (previously posted by @Coupon-mad): -
    (i) that DRA fees must be banned as they are extorting money from the public for a dubious (anti-consumer ethics) bullying service that the industry should pay for, and
(ii) that there MUST be a properly impartial non-industry influenced Single Appeals Service to replace the two joke 'appeals' run by the trade bodies that seem to be in a race to the bottom.

    2. Probably best if you/your wife starts a new thread about the BaySentry one as it could become confusing trying to answer two issues on one thread.

I would,  you DOWNLOAD it first, not fill it in online,  open it in adobe or similar,  edit it,  add an e signature by signing a white piece of paper in black ink,  take a picture and attach it to the signature section,  as well as typing your name too, save the resulting completed document as a pdf,  with new name so it doesn't overwrite the downloaded document,  then attach the completed pdf to a new email to both parties

It is a tried and tested solution
Hi , i re sent as you recommended friday 15/08
Does the N180 DQ usually show up on MCOL portal showing youv submitted it?
I only got an automated reply from the CNBC.  deadline for return of N180 DQ is 25/08.
A confirmation email would be useful but im guessing they dont do that and the automated email says not to chase up.
Im just hoping they have received it and all is good but im in the dark really until i know its confirmed.
    Thanks

Keep checking your MCOL claim history,  bearing in mind that they don't work weekends or bank holidays,  so hopefully by next week

You have the email auto response so know that it was received by the

Just for your information from FTLA; DCB Legal/Britannia discontinued this claim on Wednesday at the same car park-in this case the Driver was alleged to have paid late:-

Yes. There is now some help on the thread:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6617396/parking-code-of-practice-consultation-8-weeks-from-11th-july-2025/p1

We need every poster to come back & complete this vital Consultation before the deadline! Just 2 weeks left but please don't rush it. You can do some then save it and come back to it as you have time.

We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that.

So to try to help, I've written some guidance on that thread. I am now on question 20 and will do more over the weekend.
