Iv followed steps and done the AOS
Just looking for similar cases on the threads to help prepare defense. Bit confused on what I should be writing and to how much detail to explain my case. Do I just find the nearest similar case defense and copy paste?0 -
There's a VRM showing on the POC.3
-
So a Britannia Parking, DCB Legal court claim, post the issue date and also the AOS date below
Adapt paragraphs 2 & 3 in the defence template and post your few paragraphs below ( not the rest of the template defence )
Yes find a recent case within the last 2 months
Please note that there is no S in the word Defence3 -
Bit confused on what I should be writing and to how much detail to explain my case.Your case will be one paragraph. At this stage I'd just describe parking correctly, paying the correct fee of £1 and the machine stating "payment successful".
The other 99% of the defence will be the template.
All the details about your case will be in your witness statement.
Any idea about signage? Do we know there is even a contract saying you "agree" to pay £100 for getting the reg wrong? Is there any signage near the machine or is it miles away?
Any mention of the £70? Most signs don't mention it.4 -
Thankyou, this is the Claim form.
I did get a link at Popla showing all the signage with lots of carpark photos of signs but cant access those any longer to see. They were heavily worded in there favour from what I remember.
I don't see how I can defend this as I entered into a contract by driving in there car park and put wrong reg in. Even though I obviously paid £1 for 1 hour.
This is such a waste of court time.

You didn't mention the AOS date, but you have until 1st July at 4pm to email your defence to the CNBC in Northampton
You defend using the template defence and show us your adapted paragraphs 2 & 3 below, then you can receive bespoke advice about anything extra or anything that needs changing, so yes find and copy a recent dcb legal case, adapting where necessary2 -
