Thanks for confirming that, I’ve switched away now but noticed I can still login to the app and look at products, don’t suppose it’s possible for me to open another nationwide account to switch away, has anyone done that?.PRAISETHESUN said:
You're okay. The old Nationwide refer a friend incentive had such a clause in their T&Cs but this offer does not. Once the money is paid you are free to switch/close the account.tomxlisa said:Switched into nationwide for the incentive then a day or so later switched to lloyds, I take it I didn’t need to stay with nationwide for a set period of time, little worried now they are gonna ask for the incentive back?.

You can have more than one Nationwide account. I've still got mine open but have just opened a joint account after seeing on here that you can get the £175 for a single and a joint.
I think it said you can have up to 4 accounts?0 -
I’m guessing if I opened another one it would mean another hard check with them or would that not happen as it seems I’m still a customer just haven’t got an account anymore, I’m guessing it would mean a new debit card too?.goatfaced said:You can have more than one Nationwide account. Yes. You retain the same customer profile. When you open new accounts there will be additional credit checks, and you will get a new debit card.

It's still in progress, I'll report back in about 2 weeks if it works.0 -
Same here. Joint is me and my wife and we both had the sole Nationwide £175 this week so it'll be very satisfying if it works and the only one we're still waiting for before Christmas having both had Natwest Lloyds and Coop (waiting on Santander but that is an interminable wait!!)goatfaced said:

Very satisfyingly got this switching incentive today. Could hardly bring myself to believe we'd get 3 x £175 between the 2 of us.s71hj said:

Can you see both accounts in the app? Mine is showing the new account but there's an error when I click on it. It's early days though, the switch is 2 weeks away and my card only arrived yesterday. My husband can't see it in his app.s71hj said:
