The NatWest said 7 days but took an hour.Middle_of_the_Road said:If you look at the first link on the first page of this thread you will see the conditions say, the incentive will be paid within 10 days.
I have done it all right, but don’t want to take 10 days for them to dispute something.0 -
You have to work with the stated timescales.Screenager said:

I switched into nationwide today I’ve checked my old virgin account my current account seems to have disappeared but I can still login and see my savings account on there, is this normal as I would of thought the whole thing would of closed, or is it just the current account that goes and you have to close the rest yourself?.0

You're only switching the current account so any savings, credit cards etc sit under the same login so will remain visibletomxlisa said:I switched into nationwide today I’ve checked my old virgin account my current account seems to have disappeared but I can still login and see my savings account on there, is this normal as I would of thought the whole thing would of closed, or is it just the current account that goes and you have to close the rest yourself?.1 -
Only the specified account is closed, so any other bank or savings accounts remain open.tomxlisa said:I switched into nationwide today I’ve checked my old virgin account my current account seems to have disappeared but I can still login and see my savings account on there, is this normal as I would of thought the whole thing would of closed, or is it just the current account that goes and you have to close the rest yourself?.1 -
This is the first time I’ve done this so all a learning curve for me, so I gotta close the rest myself then as I don’t want the savings etc now, also I’ve just got an email saying the switch is complete but no mention of the bonus?.Screenager said:

The clue is in the name - Current Account Switch service. Only the specified current account you nominate during the switch process will be closed. Any other current accounts, savings, credit cards, etc will remain unaffected. You will need to get in touch with Virgin to close the other savings accounts yourself.tomxlisa said:
