Just to say that I did the ring and reserve for the Kenwood KDCW 4527 (500/3394) at Speke , Liverpool. Collected the CD Tuner yesterday and it was indeed the upgraded Kenwood KDCW 4031 model. Last one in stock.

Thanks to to the original poster of this £66.59 bargain.

Just been and collected mine from my 2nd nearest store, and got the last one they had in, and it was the newer model!

Just have to work out how to fit it now, and how to get the old cd player out :S I don't have any keys for it and dunno even if it needs them!!

Good tip - ignore the manual ! - for a start it say will only take Media Player 8 or below files - BELOW 192kbps bit-rate ... well it works fine with WMP 9 files at 200k-300k variable bit rate - I reckon they just haven't updated that part of the manual from previous models.

Just an update.. brand new CD works just fine.. doesn't seem to like dirty CD's
