If you need an adaptor you could try here http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk, mind you the one they sold me for a Volvo was substandard and needed modifying to work.

Oh and of course if ther's a car audio fitter from Lincoln on here PM me

then its a case of removing your big ford radio ,plugging the wireing adapter on to your cars existing wiring +aerial adapter if required, then it will plug staight into your new radio, then clip on your adapter plate and push new radio in.

Wish someone would do a car CD player with an aux input at this sort of price.
With the amount of MP3 players out there they'd clean up!
I'm getting by with a cassette adaptor at the moment but its not ideal.0 -
I bought a cassette adapter for my mp3 player - stuck it in my sony car head unit and all it does it reverse, reverse, reverse - no sound coming through at all. Any idea whether this is likely to be the unit or a fault wiht the cassette adapter? Any I've used in the past with my last car just played no problem.
I completely agree, an "in" socket would be SO useful

The kids are not too happy about listening to me screeching U2 songs as we drive along though :eek:Thought is creative. Think beautiful thoughts, create a beautiful world.0 -
Bought this CD etc player yesterday and got my stepson to fit it.
It works a treat, looks very neat and the sound is great.
At last I have music in the car again. YipeeIts better to be late in this life than early in the next one.
