I am sat in my parents garden in the lovely sunshine . The garden was my mum’s domain and it will miss her green fingers . I am hoping Dad will continue to care for it with help as he loves being outdoors .

The wheels of dealing with everything that a death brings with it have been put in motion . However now you need a medical examiner to certify death and it has been a bank holiday and there is a doctors strike things are held up .
We have been to sort out mums funeral which is a direct cremation as mum wanted . Very easy to arrange and the crematorium they use is one that is very nice not the conveyor belt local one .

We have had to pay upfront as it seems people arrange funerals and then don’t pay 🤷🏻‍♀️.

In Aldi today we picked up our free carrots and potatoes the excess Easterstock .

I am off to the theatre tonight in the big town with my DD , DGD . Christmas present from mum so we are all wearing a piece of mums jewellery in honour .

The doctor has given me 6 weeks off work which I am grateful for .

Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.

How’s your dad coping, he must be devastated after being with your mum for so many years, bless him.
