The airport is very quiet no queues anywhere which I love . Many more shops opened now so will have a meander round those soon. I’m sure I won’t be buying anything . The weather in Nerja is very mixed I have packed a rain coat 😂.

Really good trip this side as well , no one steering you to the e gates to do your fingerprints etc . Luggage on carousel and transfer man waiting . Have woken up to blue sky and a breeze but definitely warmer than home . Breakfast first then off for a good walk to join the locals promenading 😂.

I am on a very MSE morning a bus ride up to the lovely village of Frigliana in the hills . The bus. was €1.30 . I did have a coffee €2.20. It rained overnight and promised rain again later so I am making the most of the outside . I have read a book I couldn’t put down and will start another later .
I bought a bottle of wine in the hotel last night €12 that will last me the next 3 nights . I am going to the Mercadona when I get back for a salad when I get back for lunch . I am determined to stay in budget for this holiday

Last week a family member got some bad news that they could possibly have a type of cancer . It was upsetting to have this news but we are waiting for a scan to confirm the diagnosis. It will mean I will need to be more hands on so this may be my last break abroad for a while .
Being away is helping me come to terms with this information away from day to day life .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3 -
