Sounds like battling trains was worth it. The V&A is always such a treat. Glad you enjoyed the exhibition. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Me and DH just booked a day trip to the capital for the end of November. So much more expensive now but it’s our little treat. Only problem is you can’t relax just in case there’s any strikes that might happen. Love walking around Sloane Square area and people watching. Dont go shopping but just enjoy seeing the sights, having a meal and looking at the Xmas decorations.

Not sure where time has gone again . I seem to be on a merry go round that I occasionally get off . Half term last week took the DGC bowling , half price so not bad . We had DGDs 9th birthday, somehow I got volunteered for a primani shop 🤣. DGD was spending her own money. My mum had a brain scan weeks ago and she has finally heard from that it seems to show that she may have had a minor stroke, so now more hospital appts . She has been very angry and argumentative for months maybe this is why . It’s very hard trying to be calm with elderly parents, I sometimes wish I had a sibling to share the day to day things with .Anyhow I am on countdown to a holiday in6 days to the Canary Islands . Have got my clothes out today . Shortly I am off to pick eldest DGS up to take him to the big shopping centre to pick a Xmas present . I am getting there slowly with my gift buying which isn’t a huge list but can’t order anything owing to going away .Best get on my way for DGS , he has told me I am not to come to the school gate for him that’s for primary not high school 😂.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2
