From the Lanzarote FB groups I follow I gather the storm wasn’t as bad as they’d predicted. Meanwhile the same storm has hit us here and is dire!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

I am missing this view already . Lovely hotel, staff and prices . The cold weather is not going down well 😂. Went on a boat trip to Playa Blanca from Fuerteventura . Playa Blanca is lovely now it’s been upgraded . This weekend finds me off to a big house in Derbyshire with a Xmas market and then a house tour that has lots of lovely Xmas displays . Staying with my DS and partner overnight . Back to work Tuesday for a day . On countdown to my next winter sun in 9 weeks .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4 -
Hope you enjoyed the big house. We went to ‘fake Northern Lights’ which were surprisingly good.

That view is lovely no wonder you’re missing it. We used to go to Playa Blanca twice a year before Mr SA’s illness. It was going downhill a bit so we started going to Puerto del Carmen instead. I think it’s downfall was the all inclusive hotels so hopefully it will start to thrive again with the upgrade. SIL is going there for Christmas.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Whatever lurgy is going round has landed on me . Not feeling the best but still worked all day at the office . Hoping to work tomorrow from home as usual , will just see how I get on tonight . Went on a school trip on Friday probably shouldn’t have gone . Saturday took DGD to see wicked and then she helped me put the Xmas tree up . Think soup will be tonight’s meal simple and tasty .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2
