Hugs beanie.
Finished going through the box of photographs (there are more somewhere). Brought 3 emptied bins back and started refilling them. 2 bags to the cs, another 2 packed up ready to go. Carried on to the PO and paid the bill. Have decided to part with a compost bin that never worked and the old water butt it leaked and I thought about cutting it in 2 to make 2 large planters but I haven't found time so far, will I ever?
Moved things around in all 3 freezers. Pulled out some things to use in the next few days. Redistributed the stuff in their little freezer and binned most of what was in their fridge (they haven't used it in months, lots of OOD stuff) then unplugged that fridge freezer so I won't be paying to run it anymore. Gave some ice lollies to next door for their grandkids. Paper bag and 3 broken up boxes out to the bins.
Phoned Waste Wizards and they are coming next Tuesday (estimated at half a van load - 7 cu metres I think).
Grateful for getting things done, managing a short walk, feeling hopeful (woman with a mission)8 -

Oh beanie, hope you feel better soon. Hugs.Today I am grateful for Pip having a good first day in sixth form, for the junction where they resurfaced the road over the summer and which is now so smooth to drive over, for adding eyes to over a dozen mice, for being inside for most of today's downpours.Abundant - I think that sometimes monotony is needed, to give a routine to life. But when everything seems grey and boring, then a bit of pizzazz or a sprinkle of glitter is needed.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!8

I've finally achieved a NSD, even though I was at the office in the city centre. I did have a tea and a flapjack at a coffee shop, courtesy of my manager, who kindly paid after our meeting.I'm also feeling grateful for being able to have an open and honest conversation with my manager about concerns around a project. She really listened and took action as soon as we got back to the office which has helped me feel less anxious this evening which means I’ll be having a better sleep tonight. 🙂 I’m thankful that my bus pass got me home after two cancelled trains, and I'm appreciating the peace and quiet tonight as my two loves—OH and DS—were away to the Scotland vs. Poland match.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸10

Quieter day today-a few more phone calls re my mum, some admin, boiler service visit and then a chilled evening watching tv and chatting with some friends (one called me, the other was messaging me).
Im grateful for the amazing friends I’ve got, getting advice from the boiler service man and friendly and understanding people that I’m calling atm.
Have been invited over to one of my brothers’ house tomorrow evening for a movie night with nieces so looking forward to niece snuggles already…❤️❤️❤️7 -
Outside very early, moved two lengths of decking and then 3 of the old garden chairs that were supporting it. Broke up a small set of shelves that were behind the bathroom door (moved all the loose toilet rolls into same size boxes and the towels that were in the larger boxes). Took all the nails out of the backing boards. Mostly downstairs now but not outside yet.
Unpeeled what ended up being 4 large flattened cardboard boxes which I'd put over the magic motorbike for extra layers of protection, They have filled most of a bin (they'll squash down when something heavier is added). Most of the washing is out on the line.
Took 3 bags of mainly books to one of the further cs and then called in at one on the opposite side of the road to see if they knew anyone who could use the fridge-freezer (mum's). They said they'd have it for the shop (I explained about the missing flap) but I have to fill in a form online. Called at B00ts and used my points to buy sandwiches. Really tired when I got home so have had a little nap.
Grateful for cs, getting rid of things that were other people's cast offs and the couch (accidently decluttered a pyrex jug as my dress caught it when I got up to take in their parcels - at least it wasn't the posh candle DS2 bought me).7 -
Good morning ⛅I think you are right apple about monotony. I will keep a tub of glitter on hand in case of emergencies 😉
Had a really nice day yesterday and met a friend for lunch. Had planned to go to the gym but felt pretty tired so am going today for some light cardio. Keeping on top of things and feeling ok. Flat is tidy - I just have to not let things slide too much. Little tidying and often. I often look at these big houses up for grabs in competitions, and think that would be my worst nightmare! Think of all the dusting and cleaning 😅
Yesterday/Today I am grateful for:
1) Friends and laughter
2) Finding balance between activity and rest
3) My online games
Today = spend day too as out with another friend, so will remain at NSD number 3
On track with budgeting though 😏
Have a lovely Saturday everyone x

How does scripting a life story help?
Not having a plan or a life story script does not mean that life goes astray and we lead a worthless existence. But we have limited time; and having a plan, pausing and reviewing how things are going, helps in self reflection, making changes to live our lives better and happier.
Scripting a Life Story helps in the following ways –
- It is an opportunity to make the gift of life more worthwhile. It gives us clarity of vision of where we are, where we aspire to be on different parameters and lets us chalk out a rough plan of how to get there.
- Reviewing helps in getting back to base and understanding where the effort is sufficient or lacking. Also, life situations change and we can alter the script accordingly. We can flow with the river of life and be the coxswain of our boat.
- Having something written down gives a formal structure that we can refer to. It acts as an inspiration and a guide. Reading it aloud to ourselves regularly keeps us on track.
- Making a plan and detailing how we can actualise it, helps us to become aware of all our resources. Inside and around us.
- Affirming to ourselves that it will happen, helps in attracting the energy of the Universe, of which we are an integral part, to get activated to support us. We energise and re-charge ourselves.
- Finally, there is only so much that we can plan and prepare. There is always the unknown, unexpected and unanticipated element in life that takes us unawares.
And then we need to deal with it as best as we can; with this belief that “Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston S. Churchill

Yesterday I was grateful for dh reminding me that my 10% off coupon at liddle was expiring and so I got a trip there to stock up, for meeting with some friends and helping them with some paperwork, for a tip trip making the garden look a little better, for Pip liking his desk, for easy food.
